We are Tom & Michelle Kuettner. In 2005 with both of us experiencing multiple health issues we started examining not only what went in our body while we were eating but also what we took in through our skin. The year before we had brought several dairy goats into our family so we decided to start with goat milk soap . As I researched ingredients I found so many that claimed to be natural were anything but . I even learned a new term “green washing” to make it “sound green” usually with very little change in the actual product. We however only wanted the best safest true natural ingredients. The first Christmas after starting to make our soap we gave it away to friends, family, & co-workers. Shortly after we were flooded with request to purchase our soap. In the beginning we just sold soap even though I was continually formulating and experimenting with other skin products. In 2009 our life changed drastically when due to my health issues I could no longer work my regular job. It was a long journey but we wound up on 12 acres in South GA. We started to work on some of the other products I had been formulating. Due to customer requests liquid soap was first, and scrubs that didn’t leave an oil slick in the tub. When Michelle couldn’t find a safe & natural deodorant that didn’t break her out and actually worked it started 2 years of formulating, testing, re-formulating and in October of 2017 we released our new deodorant. We continue to work on new products whenever we can. In trying to further our passion and learning we have become members of the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetics Guild which gives us opportunities for further education and certification You will never find fragrance oils, colorants or synthetics in our products. We believe this is not just a job or a hobby... but our passion and life-mission
