Overview
The Huntley Park Foundation distributes funds to support recreational programs and park projects for the Huntley Park District. Generous financial support can buy a beautiful park bench or even a picnic shelter. Dollars are earmarked for specific projects or given to the general foundation fund. The HPF is a 501c3 corporation.
Mission
The mission of the Huntley Park Foundation is to aid the Huntley Park District in the collection of funds through community events and corporate sponsorships and to redistribute the funds for the enrichment of park and recreation programs and services.
History
The Foundation was established in 2006 as a not-for-profit corporation to help benefit Huntley Park District residents. The Park Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation Board is appointed by Park District Board of Commissioners.
