For five years, Rome Pride has proudly created a free, inclusive, and family-friendly Pride Festival for our community in Rome. We believe Pride should never come with a ticket price because visibility, celebration, and belonging should be accessible to everyone.
This year, we are raising $15,000 to help keep the Rome Pride festival free and safe for all who attend.
These funds directly support:
• City-required safety measures and security
• Police presence and emergency services
• Permits and municipal fees
• Barricades, equipment, and site logistics
• Stage, sound, and entertainment costs
• General festival operations and accessibility needs
The City of Rome requires specific safety measures to ensure a secure and successful event, and we are committed to meeting and exceeding those standards. Safety is not optional. Inclusion is not optional. Community is not optional.

About the event
Join us for the 5th Annual Rome Pride Weekend, June 26-28, 2026! The celebration kicks off Friday, June 26th at 7 PM with our Kick-Off Event at the Historic DeSoto Theatre, featuring a live auction with items from Broad St. and beyond. VIPs and sponsors are invited for a special social hour at 6 PM.
On Saturday, June 26th the Pride Festival at Ridge Ferry Park begins at 12 PM and is free to attend! Enjoy over 150 curated vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, and our headliner TBA. Don’t miss the Sizzling Divas Cabaret at 7 PM that evening. That morning at 11 AM, join us for the March for Rights on Broad Street in Downtown Rome.
Throughout the weekend, explore local art, live music, drag performances, shopping, educational events, our Health Village, and more.
Wrap up the weekend on Sunday, June 27th with our Pride Sunday Church Service at Rome First UMC at 10 AM.
Rome Pride is the largest rural LGBTQ+ Pride event in Northwest Georgia, drawing over 5,000 attendees in 2024 and 2025. As a 100% volunteer-powered nonprofit, we’re proud to offer free, inclusive, and family-friendly programming in a small-town setting.
