We received a scholarship to attend IFEA Convention and we learned about corporate sponsors, branding, vendor management, security management, and volunteer recruitment.
Y Combinator in Silicon Valley
We also had a chance to share our company with Y Combinator partners and graduated from their Startup School program. A partner from Airbnb is now coaching us on growing our product, users, and company.
Upcoming Events
Atlanta Beer Festival is hosting Guaco Taco on November 10 celebrating all things tacos, guacamole, margaritas and more! A live band and DJ will perform.
Georgia Game Developers Association is hosting Mobile Game Design and Playtesting on November 13. For new developers, this serves as a great way to break into the industry.
Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce is hosting Jingle Fest 2018 starting November 29 till December 8. The festival is welcomed with the annual Hometown Holidays Parade that was introduced in 1989, and takes place on the first Thursday following Thanksgiving.
The City of Alpharetta is hosting Light the Night on December 1 with musical performances, Santa, snow, food trucks, roasting marshmallows, a farmer’s market, live viewing area of the SEC Championship Football Game on the big screen, and more.
The City of Sugar Hill is hosting Holiday Celebration for their annual holiday celebrations on December 1 with tree lighting, Santa, Grinch, and a Holiday Market.
