About the event
Youth Day has been a long-standing tradition in Roswell that began in 1950 when a group of parents decided to sponsor a parade and a day of activities to honor the youth of the city. In 1951, Mayor Ford Rucker proclaimed the second Saturday in October as "Roswell Youth Day" and each year the tradition grows stronger within the community. Come celebrate National Arts and Humanities Month and Roswell's Annual Youth Day with the Roswell Cultural Arts Division. Each vendor will receive a spot large enough to set-up a 10x10 pop up tent, tables and chairs. Each vendor is asked to bring a short, fun activity for kids ages 3 - 10 that relates to our celebration of National Arts and Humanities. Art Block, Food Truck Alley, Touch-a-Truck, and Fall Farm days will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Throughout the month of October, we celebrate the arts and the humanities! Highlighting humanities like Performing Arts, Literature, Visual Arts and more!

Please note that it is highly encouraged to bring your own tent, tables, and chairs.

This event is not allowing sales of goods or merchandise.

This year’s parade theme is “Tapestry of Generations.”

Tapestry of Generations, celebrates the people, stories, and traditions that connect generations and make Roswell a vibrant community today and the youth who will shape our future for generations to come.

The parade will begin at Roswell Area Park. The parade route is as follows: Line up at Roswell Area Park, left on Woodstock Road, right on Canton Street, right on Magnolia, and left into First Baptist Church on Mimosa Blvd. Parade applicants will be required to attend one pre-event meeting. This meeting will be held at Roswell City Hall and over Zoom. The meeting will be held on September 23rd at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Both of these times will have a zoom link.
