The Wood, Fire, Smoke Festival, presented by: Smoking In The Foothills Inc. is a celebration of our heritage and commitment to art, design, and innovation. A collection of skilled craftsmen, artisans, and chefs will converge downtown, highlighting the ingenuity that put Lenoir on the map. Set in beautiful historic downtown Lenoir, Wood, Fire, Smoke offers loads of fabulous vendors, restaurants, bars, shops, live musical entertainment, attractions, and exhibitors. In past years we have seen 15,000+ festival-goers enjoy The Smoking in the Foothills BBQ festival, and Wood, Fire, Smoke 2022 promises to be another fabulous fall festival as we transition in a new direction! Come celebrate with us on October 8, 2022, and have your senses entangled by the raw elements of Wood, Fire, and Smoke! Festival hours: Saturday 10:00am-7:00pm, followed by a ticketed luxurious BBQ-themed dinner to take place from 7:00pm-9:00pm. WNC Sculpture Center Iron Pour

Things are about to heat up as WNC Sculpture Center puts on a dazzling display of fire, metal and heat. Come watch as they reduce raw metal to molten lava before pouring it into artistic molds. Once cooled these one of a kind artistic Iron Pour pieces will be auctioned off. The Metaled Company - Hammer Forging

Sparks are gonna fly as the hammer falls in The Metaled Company spectacle space. Watch as these talented craftsmen hammer super heated metal to their will. Specializing in Architectural & Decorative metal design, these guys are sure to put on a good show. All pieces made during the Spectacle Events will be auctioned off via Silent Auction. Winners will be announced at 7pm.

Nature's Wonderland Carvings

James Miller is the award winning artist/owner of Nature's Wonderland Carvings. He has been adding unique artistic twist to chainsaw craving since 2015.
