About the event
This summer, Downtown Duluth comes alive with hands-on learning!
From May 28 to July 30, we’re partnering with top Atlanta-area museums and science centers to bring exciting, educational STEM experiences to Parsons Alley.
Designed especially for kids ages 5–11 , each Wednesday features a new activity that sparks curiosity and encourages discovery through science, technology, engineering, and math.
Sessions at 10:30am and 11:30am.
Registration is required.
July 2, 2025 - Deep Dive: Shark Science with Discover Science Center
Children learn about the diversity of sharks, what they eat and how we can tell from the shape of their teeth, and also explore the external anatomy of sharks as they investigate preserved spiny dogfish sharks.
Suggested for ages 5-11.
Cost is $5/child
With registration, each participant will receive a gift certificate redeemable at Downtown Duluth businesses. Value $5.
Parents must accompany children during this activity.
