About the event
This summer, Downtown Duluth comes alive with hands-on learning!
From May 28 to July 30, we’re partnering with top Atlanta-area museums and science centers to bring exciting, educational STEM experiences to Parsons Alley.
Designed especially for kids ages 5–11 , each Wednesday features a new activity that sparks curiosity and encourages discovery through science, technology, engineering, and math.
Sessions at 10:30am and 11:30am.
Registration is required.
July 9, 2025 - Colorful Chemistry & Volcanos with Discover Science Center
Expand children's understanding of physical and chemical changes with a lab involving polymers. Students experiment with super absorbent polymers in diapers, learn how water beads work and create cross-linked polymer slime.
Suggested for ages 5-11.
Cost is $5/child
With registration, each participant will receive a gift certificate redeemable at Downtown Duluth businesses. Value $5.
Parents must accompany children during this activity.
