About the event
The Annual Wild Alleghenies Outdoor Adventure & Sportsman's Expo is the region's largest and most interactive 1-day outdoor and sports show with something for everyone in the family, held at PNG Field, Altoona Curve Ballpark from 11 am to 8 pm September 13th, 2025. Guests will encounter outdoor and nature-related vendors & artists, food trucks, winery & distillery tastings, hands-on demonstrations and activities, competitions, expert presenters, celebrity appearances, a Jeep/Bronco/Off-road vehicle show, beard contest, and wildlife encounter shows and photo opps. Free parking is provided and advance tickets are $10 adults/$5 children 6-12/Free under 6 or at the gate for $12/$7/Free.

Exotic Edventure's Exotic Interactive Animal Encounters
There will be 3 showtimes, 12-1 pm, 3-4 pm, & 6-7 pm and audience is limited to 250 people per show. You must purchase tickets and register in advance for the showtime you would like to attend.
Pop-up Skateboard Park by SK8-1-4 Action Sports Park
If you're experienced, bring your board and grind with the SK8-1-4 team at their pop-up skateboard park with ramps and rails. Or talk to one of their instructors and get a demonstration of the basics.
Dan Lynch of Wildlife Enterprises LLC

Do you know what a furbearer is? Make sure you do not miss this hands-on, family-oriented presentation about the twelve furbearers of Pennsylvania that can be lawfully trapped throughout the state. Dan Lynch, a Professional Wildlife Control Operator, and licensed trapper will cover the basics about each species and talk about their unique features, habitat preferences, and answer questions you may have about these really cool critters.
Freddie McKnight - Predator Hunter

Born and raised in Southern Huntingdon County, Freddie McKnight has always had a love for the outdoors. Coming from a family that lived their lives around hunting and fishing, Freddie just naturally fell in line with the family tradition and continues to do so to this day. His passion for the outdoors has taken him from South Texas to Ungava Bay and from the Rocky Mountains to the Eastern shore in outdoor pursuits.
Freddie entered a new phase of his outdoor passion in 1993 when he started writing an outdoor newspaper column. From there his writing fanned out, with articles showing up in nearly 80 publications nationwide.
