Watercolor Landscapes and Buildings (4 sessions, Tuesday Mornings)

In August we will be studying Landscapes and Buildings getting ready for September Plein Air classes, in preparation for the October 5th Plein Air event. This class is designed for beginners and intermediate watercolorists. We will learn fun and creative watercolor techniques, basic theory, and instruction while focussing on creating watercolor paintings of landscapes and buildings. Supplies Needed: Basic selection of watercolor paints. A small round brush, medium round, small square . 140lb heavy weight cold press paper. 6x9 or larger. .03, .05, .08 Pigma Micron archival ink pens. Your Instructor: Shawn Garland has been teaching painting classes for over 20 years. She has been voted as one of the best artists in the Northland for the past 6 years. She is the owner and curator of the Artisan Market in Liberty Missouri. Her passion is to create commissioned art for personal and commercial spaces as well as teaching people how to, not only paint, but to find the joy in creating.
