Join Project Pride SRQ as an official volunteer partner for Walk Forward: The Ruby Bridges Sarasota Initiative on Thursday, November 12, 2026. Volunteers may indicate availability for the Bay Haven Elementary School event, the Ruby Bridges Community Town Hall, or both. Final assignments will be coordinated by Project Pride based on volunteer availability and event needs.

Directions
Parking instructions
Parking details vary by volunteer assignment. Bay Haven volunteers should allow extra time for parking and check in at the school front office. Town Hall volunteers may park in the front or remote lot at Booker High School; limited golf cart shuttle assistance will be available for guests with disabilities. Final arrival and parking instructions will be shared with confirmed volunteers before the event.
Health & safety
Volunteers should follow all instructions from event and school leadership, use care when assisting guests, and immediately report any medical concern, security issue, or facility problem to event leadership. Volunteers should not attempt to manage emergencies independently. Bay Haven volunteers should be prepared for standing and walking for up to 2–3 hours, light lifting up to 10 pounds, stairs, and both indoor and outdoor activity.
