Volunteer With CARE to Prepare CARE PACKAGE Kits for Families Recovering from Disasters

CARE – the Atlanta-based humanitarian organization – is inviting the public to join a free community volunteer event on Saturday, June 20, from noon to 4 PM hosted at popup space LikeMinds ATL (formerly BrewDog) on the Beltline (112 Krog St. NE). Stop by anytime to help pack CARE PACKAGE kits filled with essential hygiene supplies for families across the US recovering from hurricanes, floods, wildfires and other disasters. No experience needed! Just show up, pack the supplies, and be part of something meaningful. CARE is aiming to prepare at least 2,000 of these kits in a single afternoon, carrying forward a legacy that began 80 years ago when CARE delivered its first CARE PACKAGE boxes to families recovering from World War II in Europe.
