Participants will learn how grief presents across developmental stages, recognize common and often overlooked grief reactions, and gain practical strategies for supporting grieving children in classrooms, childcare settings, and caregiving environments. Using a trauma-informed and wellness-centered approach, this session incorporates the 8 Dimensions of Wellness to examine how loss affects the whole child and how supportive adults can foster resilience, emotional safety, and healthy coping.
