About the event
Decorate your vehicle’s trunk or set up a 10' x 10' booth and join the Halloween fun! Eligibility: Trunk or Treat is open to individuals and families of all ages, as well as clubs, community groups, and businesses. Each individual, family, or group may submit only one entry. Entry Fee: Participation is completely free! Please plan to provide enough candy for 2,000+ trick-or-treaters. Requirements: Vehicle displays must fit within two designated parking spaces. Booth displays must fit within a 10' x 10' space. All displays must be family-friendly. Decorations should be whimsical, humorous, mischievous, or lovable, not frightening. Gruesome, bloody, excessively scary, or otherwise inappropriate displays will be disqualified. The City of Roseville reserves the right to disqualify any entry it considers distasteful or unsuitable for families. All participants must provide candy for trick-or-treaters. Setup and Take-Down: Setup may begin at 2:00 p.m. on October 16, and all decorating must be completed by 5:00 p.m. Take-down may begin immediately after the event, but no earlier than 7:00 p.m. All decorations, vehicles, and booths must be removed by the end of the evening.

Vendor Waiver In consideration of the permission by the City of Roseville (City) to accept the below named vendor in the event listed above, sponsored by the City, the undersigned hereby releases the City, its’ officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from, and waives and relinquishes any claim, liability, cause of action, damages, or costs for personal injury or property damage arising as a result of participation in said event. The undersigned acknowledges that he/she has been fully advised of the risks and potential dangers incidental to participating in the event for which this application was submitted, and voluntarily and knowingly assumes the risks of participating in such event. Note: By signing this agreement, you are agreeing to relieve the City of liability for personal injury, wrongful death or property damage to the fullest extent permitted by law, except as may be caused by the sole and active negligence of the City. Photo/Video Waiver: I understand that City staff reserves the right to photograph and/or record facilities, activities and program participants for potential future use. I hereby grant permission to the City to use my photograph and/or audio/video recording for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as print and online advertising. I understand that I will not be paid or receive anything related to the City’s use of my photograph and/or recording. I understand that all photographs and recordings will remain the property of the City and I acknowledge the City’s right to alter or edit any photographs and/or recordings at its discretion. I agree to release the City from any and all legal claims I or a third party may have arising from the use of my photograph and/or audio/video recording.
