Get ready for one of Palmer's favorite Halloween traditions! Join us on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM as Downtown Palmer transforms into Trick or Treat Street—a fun, safe, and family-friendly evening filled with candy, costumes, and community spirit. Bring your little ghosts, superheroes, witches, princesses, and every costume in between as you stroll through downtown visiting participating businesses handing out treats. Along the way, enjoy festive decorations, photo opportunities, and Halloween fun while supporting the local businesses that make our community special. A complete Trick or Treat Street Map featuring all participating businesses will be released before the event, making it easy to plan your Halloween adventure. Downtown Palmer businesses are invited to participate! If your business would like to be included on the official Trick or Treat Street Map, please complete the participation application. It's a great opportunity to welcome hundreds of local families to your business and be part of one of Palmer's most anticipated community events. We can't wait to celebrate Halloween with you in Downtown Palmer!

TYPES OF VENDORS

·         Food Trucks

 

FOOD VENDORS

·         All Food vendors are required to have the required Food Permits.

·         Must have a State of Alaska & Palmer City Business Licenses.

·         Food vendor shall maintain insurance coverage of at least $1 Million of general liability and $2 Million dollars of aggregate insurance during this event, with GPCC as an “additionally Insured”

 

BOOTH & INVOICING INFORMATION

Food truck vendors will  be located near the pavilion

Vendors will be notified a minimum of 2 weeks before the event, with their assigned location and set-up time. – Please check your Eventeny account for your final location

 

·         Once you are approved as a Vendor you be emailed an invoice, or card on file will be charged for your booth fee.

 

VENDOR FEES

·         All fees are due in full by October 2, 2026

·         $100 Food Vendor Fee

·        GPCC members receive first priority access to applications.  Members also receive location/space preference and limited exclusivity of products.

·         Vendors are responsible for remitting City of Palmer’s 3% sales tax

·         No Refunds will be issued for cancellations.

 

ADVERTISING AGREEMENT

·         The GPCC will place advertisements for Treat or Trick with local radio stations, social media, and print media.  Additionally, full Vendor listings will be made available on the GPCC website at www.palmerchamber.org and on the Trick or Treat map at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

·         Vendors may provide a website URL or social media handle in their application so their listing can be linked to the Vendor’s own website/handle. If no website or social media handle is provided, a static listing will be posted.

·         Feel free to send promotional photos of your items for use in our advertising campaigns.

·        Please do not create a separate Trick or Treat Street event..

This community-wide celebration is a fun opportunity for local businesses, organizations, and community groups to connect with families and help create a safe and festive Halloween experience for our community.

Please note: Trick-or-Treat Street is not a vendor or sales event. Participating businesses and organizations are there to hand out candy or treats and engage with families. No products, food, merchandise, or services may be sold during the event.

 

Not located in Downtown Palmer? You can still participate!

Our Trick or Trunk Zone gives businesses, organizations, and community groups outside the downtown district an opportunity to join the celebration. Decorate your vehicle, dress in costume, fill your trunk with treats, and help welcome hundreds of local trick-or-treaters.

How to Participate
Register: Complete the participation form by October 9.
Decorate: Decorate your storefront, vehicle, or designated space with Halloween-themed decorations.
Hand Out Candy: Be prepared to distribute candy or treats to trick-or-treaters throughout the event.
No Selling: This event is for community engagement and candy distribution only. Vendor sales are not permitted.
By participating, you’re helping create a fun, safe, and memorable Halloween tradition for families throughout the Palmer community.
