Create YOUR lasting impression! Be a part of this unique opportunity to design an iron cast tile that will become a permanent part of the TIME WELL SPENT Clock Tower Sculpture - or give it as a one-of-a-kind gift for any special occasion! Purchase an Iron Cast Tile / Scratch Mold with an Instructional Workshop conducted by Western Carolina Sculpture Center Staff. Tiles are priced at $75 each. Participants will design their mold and the iron pour will occur during the WOOD.FIRE.SMOKE Festival this October. During the workshops, artists from the WNCSC will work with participants as they design their tiles based loosely on the iconic numbers found on the historic clock (be sure to view all the photos for examples). Parking instructions
All workshops are held on Saturdays, at 10 am. They are held at the City of Lenoir Parks & Rec Mulberry Recreation Center, 720 Mulberry St SW Lenoir NC 28645. There is plenty of parking and ADA accessibility.

Western NC Sculpture Center
The Western North Carolina Sculpture Center is dedicated to connecting people with the arts through exhibitions, interactions with artists, and the opportunity to experience creative processes in an inclusive environment. WOOD.FIRE.SMOKE Festival
OUR SPIRIT ~ The Wood, Fire, Smoke Festival is a celebration of our heritage and commitment to art, design, and innovation. A collection of skilled craftsmen, artisans, BBQ chefs, and maltsters will converge downtown, highlighting the ingenuity that put Lenoir on the map. Set in beautiful historic downtown Lenoir, Wood, Fire, Smoke offers loads of fabulous vendors, restaurants, bars, shops, live musical entertainment, attractions, and exhibitors. The Festival features an IRON POUR conducted by the Western Carolina Sculpture Center, live chain saw wood carvings, iron forging and numerous other spectacle events.
