Parking Information Free parking is available at the following locations: 213 Park Drive (adjacent to Greatest Generation Park) Silvertown Baptist Church City of Refuge Church 803 N. Church Street Please follow all posted parking signs and directions from event staff and volunteers. For the safety of our guests and emergency personnel, do not park along roadways, in designated fire lanes, or in restricted areas. Accessible parking is available near the festival entrance for vehicles displaying a valid accessible parking permit or license plate. Look for the official event parking map on our Facebook page and website prior to the event. We encourage attendees to arrive early for the best parking availability and to enjoy a full day of Mule Days festivities!

Health & safety
Health & Safety Guidelines The safety of our guests, volunteers, vendors, and staff is our top priority. Please help us make Mule Days a safe and enjoyable event for everyone by following these guidelines: Be aware of your surroundings and follow all instructions from event staff, volunteers, and emergency personnel. Children should remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. Stay hydrated and take breaks as needed, especially during warm weather. Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear for walking on grass and paved surfaces. Report any emergencies, suspicious activity, lost children, or safety concerns to the Information Tent or the nearest event staff member. In the event of severe weather or an emergency, please follow announcements and directions from event officials. If you are feeling ill or experiencing a medical emergency, seek assistance from event staff or emergency personnel immediately. Help keep the park clean by using the provided trash and recycling receptacles.

Thank you for your interest in participating as Food or Beverage Vendor at Mule Days, Thomaston's annual fall festival celebrating our agricultural heritage and history as the Mule Capital of the South.

 

Held at Greatest Generation Park on Saturday, October 17, 2026, Mule Days draws approximately 4 thousand attendees from across the region for a full day of live entertainment, delicious food, family activities, agricultural demonstrations, and shopping with talented artisans and makers.

 

We are seeking food vendors offering:

Our goal is to create a diverse marketplace that showcases creativity, craftsmanship, and small businesses while providing festival guests with a unique dining experience. There is a limit of 15 food trucks/vendors serving hot, entree food items. Food trucks/vendors are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Thank you for your interest in participating as an Arts & Crafts Vendor at Mule Days, Thomaston's annual fall festival celebrating our agricultural heritage and history as the Mule Capital of the South.

 

Held at Greatest Generation Park on Saturday, October 17, 2026, Mule Days draws thousands of visitors from across the region for a full day of live entertainment, delicious food, family activities, agricultural demonstrations, and shopping with talented artisans and makers.

 

We are seeking vendors offering:

Handmade arts and crafts
Original artwork
Woodworking
Pottery
Jewelry
Home décor
Seasonal and holiday items
Handmade candles and soaps
Fiber arts and textiles
Specialty gifts
Locally made products
Other unique handcrafted goods

 

Our goal is to create a diverse marketplace that showcases creativity, craftsmanship, and small businesses while providing festival guests with a unique shopping experience. To provide the best shopping experience for our guests, commercially mass-produced merchandise, counterfeit items, and products that do not align with the family-friendly nature of the festival may not be accepted.

 

Up to 3-of-a-kind vendors will be accepted (for example, up to three wreath crafters). More that this will be waitlisted.

Deadline: Oct 04, 2026

We are looking for local partners (churches, non-profits, civic groups, and small businesses) that would be interested in providing a kid's zone activity at Thomaston Mule Days on Saturday, October 14, 2026 from 10:00AM-6:00PM. Setup is free and electricity can be provided at no charge. You are welcome to share/advertise information about your entity and your activities in the community. Activities can include games, interactive activities, crafts, learning opportunities, or anything that may match the theme of our festival.  If you are struggling to figure out an activity you can contact Colleen Cook at 706-601-5853 for ideas. Some examples of activities could be face painting, temporary tattoo station, interactive games, or seasonal arts and crafts they can take home. Once you know your activity, it is very important to sign up and included on the form so that we can ensure that there are no repeat activities.

 

Promotional & Community Showcase Application


Promotional and Community Showcase booths provide businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, civic organizations, schools, churches, and community groups the opportunity to connect with thousands of festival attendees during Mule Days 2026.

These booths are intended to educate, inform, and engage the public through interactive experiences. We encourage exhibitors to create a welcoming and memorable booth by incorporating activities such as games, demonstrations, giveaways, raffles, contests, hands-on experiences, or other creative ways to interact with festival guests.

 

Examples include:

-Community organizations sharing information about their programs
-Businesses promoting products or services
-Health and wellness organizations providing educational resources
-Schools, churches, and civic groups recruiting members or volunteers
-Interactive games and prize wheels
-Giveaways and promotional items
-Demonstrations and hands-on activities


Please Note
The sale of mass-produced retail merchandise is not permitted within the Promotional & Community Showcase category.
Promotional items, branded giveaways, informational materials, and free samples are welcome.
Organizations wishing to sell handmade goods should apply under the Arts & Crafts Vendor category.
Vendors selling food or beverages must apply under the appropriate Food Vendor or Beverage Vendor category.
Booths should remain staffed and operational throughout festival hours.
All displays and activities must be family-friendly and suitable for audiences of all ages.


Our goal is to create an engaging festival experience where attendees can discover local businesses, organizations, and community resources while enjoying fun, interactive exhibits.

 

Booth Fee: $50.00 for a 10'x10' space | $15.00 for electricity access (20amp)

Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, families, community organizations, schools, and businesses. No experience is necessary—just a positive attitude and a willingness to help! Terms & Conditions
Mule Days 2026 – Attendee Terms & Conditions Welcome to Mule Days 2026! By attending this event, you agree to the following terms and conditions designed to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Admission Admission to Mule Days is free unless otherwise noted for specific activities. Event hours, activities, and entertainment are subject to change without notice. Code of Conduct Mule Days is a family-friendly event. Guests are expected to treat fellow attendees, volunteers, vendors, performers, and staff with courtesy and respect. Disorderly conduct, harassment, discrimination, fighting, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event. Children Children under the age of 16 should be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times. Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children throughout the event. Pets Well-behaved pets are welcome unless otherwise posted. Pets must remain on a leash at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. Service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law. Photography & Video By entering the event grounds, you acknowledge that photographs and video may be taken for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes by the City of Thomaston and Thomaston Main Street. Your attendance constitutes your consent to the use of your likeness in these materials without compensation. Weather Mule Days is a rain-or-shine event unless conditions pose a safety risk. Event organizers reserve the right to delay, modify, or cancel activities due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Personal Property Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. The City of Thomaston, Thomaston Main Street, sponsors, volunteers, and event partners are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property. Health & Safety Guests are expected to follow all posted rules and instructions from event staff, volunteers, police officers, firefighters, and emergency personnel. Anyone engaging in unsafe behavior may be asked to leave the event. Vendor Sales Purchases made from vendors are transactions between the customer and the individual vendor. The City of Thomaston and Thomaston Main Street are not responsible for the quality, warranty, or exchange of vendor products or services. Assumption of Risk By attending Mule Days, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in festival activities and being present on event grounds. The City of Thomaston, Thomaston Main Street, event sponsors, volunteers, and participating organizations shall not be liable for injuries, losses, or damages except as required by applicable law. Event Policies Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual whose behavior is deemed unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive to the enjoyment of others.
