About the event
The Pride Center of Terre Haute's 5th Annual Terre Haute Pride Fest will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 12-6pm at Fairbanks Park! On behalf of the Pride Center of Terre Haute, we are so excited to have you join us for the 2026 Terre Haute Pride Fest! It will be an amazing day featuring vendors, entertainers, food vendors, activities for all ages, and time to celebrate LGBTQ+ history and joy.

Free attendee parking is available in the grassy areas within the park closest to 1st Street. Parking will also be available in the parking lots on the south and north sides (ADA parking spots available on the north side) of the park.

Health & safety
LOGISTICS WHAT TO BRING: We suggest bringing a chair or blanket to sit in front of the amphitheater to view our entertainment lineup, money for any purchases at our vendor booths, and your friends and family! (Sunscreen is also always a good idea.) HOW TO ENTER: Please enter through the event entrances marked by RAINBOWS (arches, flags, balloons, etc.). We prefer that guests enter through our Main Entrance as listed on the map. Additional entrances are located on the south and north sides of the event. Bags will be checked and metal detecting wands will be used upon entry. TICKETS & WRISTBANDS: The event is FREE for all attendees! Please reserve your ticket online in advance - donations are encouraged. Tickets will be scanned upon entry. All attendees must wear a wristband provided by Pride Fest volunteers at the event entrance to enter and participate in the event. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO PRIDE FEST: The Terre Haute Public Transportation System has added stops during Pride Fest! Pick-up times will take place at the Terre Haute Transfer Center located at 750 Cherry St., Terre Haute, IN 47807: 2:45pm, Honey Creek Bus Line 3:45pm, Honey Creek Bus Line 4:45pm, Honey Creek Bus Line 6:15pm, S 7th Bus Line 7:15pm, S 7th Bus Line 8:15pm, S 7th Bus Line Drop off will be at 1st and Farrington (Fairbanks Park, YMCA Parking Lot)! ESSENTIALS FOOD & DRINKS: There will be food and drink vendors to enjoy! Come hungry! WATER: A water station provided by Baesler’s Market will be located next to the amphitheater. We request a donation to help fund the Pride Center. Thanks, Baesler’s! RESTROOMS: Park restrooms and portable restrooms will be available between the playground and amphitheater. [Please note: indoor restrooms will be closed to the public during the drag show for entertainer use.] SEATING: There are seating areas and grass space in the amphitheater. You can bring chairs and blankets for the stage viewing area as well as the grassy areas throughout the park. PETS: Pets are so welcome! Please be sure they are leashed. If your pet needs to use the restroom, please take them outside the event area, and please collect and dispose of any waste. ACCESSIBILITY: Entrances to the event are mobility devices accessible. Accessibility information will be available at the Pride Center booth. If you need a break away, feel free to come back and enjoy the fun whenever you want! VENDORS: We have ~100 vendors offering a variety of resources, products, activities, and experiences! Make sure to stop by each booth to learn more. KID-FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES: The entire event is family and kid friendly! Vendors will have activities, games, prizes, and more. ENTERTAINMENT: We have many amazing performers including musicians, performers, and a drag show! PERFORMER TIPS: We will have tip boxes on the stage for each performer for cash tips. If you don’t have cash, a majority of the performers accept electronic tips. SAFETY INFORMATION: The Terre Haute Police Department (THPD) will provide security for the event and will staff a security booth by the amphitheater. Information regarding safety procedures are below. WEATHER: Terre Haute Pride Fest will take place rain or shine. Weather will be monitored by Terre Haute Police Department officers, dispatch, and event leads. In case of thunderstorms, lightning, or tornado warnings, vendors and attendees will be instructed via PA system to seek shelter indoors or in vehicles. Once the weather clears, we will resume the festivities. THUNDERSTORMS/LIGHTENING: Activities stop immediately if thunder is heard or lightning is seen. All individuals will be instructed to move indoors or to their vehicles. The 30-30 Rule for Lightning Safety will be observed: if thunder follows lightning within 30 seconds, seek shelter; wait 30 minutes after the last thunder to resume activities. STRONG WINDS (20+ MPH): All portable tents will be evacuated. TORNADO WATCH/WARNING: Outdoor activities stop, and event grounds are evacuated. EXTREME WEATHER: Move to a sturdy building or vehicle; if none are available, crouch low in a ditch or depression away from trees and structures. The event may resume if conditions clear. THREAT OF VIOLENCE: We have a policy to treat all threats and rumors of violence as real. Attendees are encouraged to communicate if they feel they are in danger of bodily harm or consider a threat to be immediate to the nearest THPD Police Officer, volunteer, or call 911. EMERGENCY CONTACT - CALL 911 & GET HELP: For any immediate emergency, call 911. For help, locate the nearest Terre Haute Police Department (THPD) officer or event lead for assistance. MEDICAL EMERGENCY - CONTACT EVENT SECURITY: Immediately notify a THPD officer assigned to the event. Call 911 and alert event staff. If trained, provide First Aid/CPR until medical help arrives. Keep the area clear for first responders. EVACUATION PROCEDURES - FOLLOW PA INSTRUCTIONS: In the event of evacuation, instructions will be broadcast over the PA system. Move calmly to nearby public buildings or your vehicle. Leave tents, equipment, and personal belongings behind. Assist those who may need help. EMERGENCY SHELTER - RETURN TO VEHICLE OR BUILDING: For severe weather or general evacuation, return to your vehicle or enter a nearby public building. Listen for PA announcements and follow all instructions. ACTIVE THREAT - RUN, HIDE, FIGHT: If safe, RUN toward a secure location or police officers. If escape is not possible, HIDE behind solid objects, stay low, and silence devices. As a last resort, FIGHT to defend yourself until help arrives. Follow instructions from THPD immediately. SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - REPORT IT: Report unusual behavior, unattended bags, or suspicious objects to staff or THPD immediately. Do not touch suspicious items. Stay alert and aware of your surroundings. FIRE EMERGENCY - EVACUATE: Alert others and move calmly toward the nearest exit route. Leave tents and equipment behind. Assist those who may need help. Move to a safe assembly area away from the park structures. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS - AVOID THE AREA: If a spill or strange odor occurs, move away from the area immediately. Do not attempt to clean or handle the material. Follow instructions from THPD or event staff. NATURAL GAS LEAK - MOVE AWAY: Leave the area immediately and report the smell of gas to THPD or event staff. Do not use phones or electrical devices near the leak. POWER OUTAGE - STAY CALM: Report outages to event staff. NO WEAPONS OR RESTRICTED ITEMS - PROHIBITED AT EVENT: Weapons of any kind, including firearms and ammunition, are not permitted. Fireworks, flares, illegal drugs, open flames, grills, ATVs, and motorcycles are prohibited. TOBACCO AND ALCOHOL - NOT PERMITTED: The event is tobacco-, smoke-, and vape-free. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed. NO NUDITY - FOLLOW LOCAL LAWS: While we do not want to limit self-expression, the local laws and policies need to be followed. We ask you to observe the simple rule of swimsuit covering. If you can wear it to a public pool, you are good to go. PERSONAL ITEMS - YOUR RESPONSIBILITY: You are responsible for your belongings, including items left in unattended tents. The event is not responsible for lost or damaged property.

The Pride Center of Terre Haute is excited to host the 2026 Terre Haute Pride Fest on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute, Indiana!

 

We are excited to feature local food vendors at the festival. Space is limited, so only a select number of food vendors will be approved.

There is no upfront cost to be a food vendor, we are requesting a donation of 20% of proceeds to the Pride Center of Terre Haute. This donation will directly support center operations, programs, and services! Please note: No vendor is permitted to sell alcoholic beverages.

We are keeping food vendors limited for Pride Fest in order to make sure this is a profitable event for you! Because of this lean model, it is extremely important you honor this commitment as we will not have a back up. Vendors who cancel under one month of the event or no-show will be charged $200.

At this Pride Festival, we are featuring LGBTQ+ owned businesses/organizations. Please indicate if you are interested in being featured as an LGBTQ+ owned business. In addition, please also let us know if you will offer a Pride themed menu item we can advertise.

Food vendor check-in will occur from 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 3. You may arrive earlier if needed, but please do not arrive later than 10:30am. The food vending location will be behind the amphitheater. Food vendors must stay for the entire event from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. This is a rain or shine event!

Once your application is approved, a PCTH representative will reach out to you for next steps and to ensure required documentation has beed uploaded.

We are excited to feature a variety of vendors, including for-profit businesses, nonprofit organizations, artists, coalitions, and more. If your organization is interested in a vendor space for the Terre Haute Pride Fest, please fill out the form below. 


A table and two chairs will be provided for you. We request that you provide your own tent (this is a rain or shine event).

You will be responsible for bringing your organization's flyers, brochures, interactive displays/games, and anything else you want to provide or include.

If your business/organization would like to sell any products, we are requesting a donation of 20% of proceeds to the Pride Center of Terre Haute. This donation will directly support center operations, programs, and services!


Vendor check-in and set-up will occur from 10:00 AM- 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 3rd. We will have volunteers present to help you transport items from your vehicle to assigned booth space. Vendors must stay for the entirety of the event from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. 


Last year, we welcomed over 3,000 attendees at Pride Fest, so please come prepared!

To pull off our vision, we need volunteers! Please fill out the form to sign up as a Pride Fest volunteer. Volunteer opportunities include: - Event Set Up - Vendor Unloading Support - Entrance Welcoming Crew - Parking Crew - Pride Center Booth - Vendor Support - Food Vendor Support - Stage & Entertainment Support - Hydration Station - Park Cleanliness Checks - Tear Down/Clean Up Crew Once we receive your application and it is approved (following the close date of applications), we will email you a sign-up link to choose your preferred location and shift times. Please allow a few weeks of follow up time as our volunteer festival coordinators will be processing every application. When entering your email address below, please make sure to double check you've entered it correctly so we can ensure follow ups are sent to the correct address. Additionally, you may consider checking your junk/spam folders more regularly than usual in the event any correspondence goes to these folders. We are seeking entertainers who are members of the LGBTQIAP+ community and our allies to be featured on stage during Pride Fest. We are hoping to bring a variety of entertainment to the festival and welcome submissions from singer/songwriters, dancers, variety acts, drag performers, and more! We will have performances on the Fairbanks Park Amphitheater Stage!

 

If you would like to have a vendor booth to promote your talents, business, and/or organization, please be sure to complete the separate Vendor Application.

Entertainer check-in, prep, and sound checks will occur from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 3 at the amphitheater.

 

Entertainers must be 18 or older OR have an adult chaperone/coach/leader who is 18 or older.


All performers will be required to sign a liability waiver. We will follow up with all approved acts to confirm performance schedules and equipment needs.

 

To be considered as an entertainer/performer for Pride Fest, this application must be completed by August 1, 2026 before noon!

POLICIES All vendors, volunteers, entertainers, and attendees are expected to adhere to the following policies during the event. WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT: The Terre Haute Pride Fest is a welcoming environment free of bullying, harassment, intimidation, and victimization. The Pride Center of Terre Haute reserves the right to refuse entrance to the event to individuals causing LGBTQ+ persons in Terre Haute, Indiana or the surrounding areas to feel unsafe, unwelcome, or discriminated against. BE RESPECTFUL: The LGBTQIA+ community is a vast spectrum of identities, and the Pride Fest grounds should be a safe space for each person. Please treat all attendees with respect. Sexism, racism, ableism, ageism, homophobia, fatphobia, transphobia, etc. will not be tolerated and are grounds for immediate dismissal and exclusion from future festivals. Do not touch others without their consent. BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR: Please respect vendor spaces, our staging, and those around you. Do not impede visibility at the stage or traffic in vending areas. Keep sidewalks clear. BE PATIENT AND KIND: The Pride Center of Terre Haute and our festival are entirely volunteer powered. Everyone is doing their best to make the best day possible for you and festival goers. Bullying attendees or festival staff will not be tolerated. HARMLESS FOR ANY LOSSES: Attendees understand that the Pride Center of Terre Haute Inc. has no control over weather, acts of God, acts of terrorism, government intervention, or any other cause that may prevent and alter and or interrupt the Terre Haute Pride Fest, and participants shall hold the Pride Center of Terre Haute Inc. harmless for any losses that could arise because of such event. NO OFFENSIVE MATERIALS: All materials deemed offensive by the Pride Center of Terre Haute Inc. will not be permitted to be sold or displayed. CONDUCT: All attendees are expected to monitor themselves on all matters of conduct, attire, etc. This is a family-friendly community event and minors will be present.
