Join the area's premiere Arts & Music Festival on Saturday, Sept 28 from 2-8 pm and get ready to experience LKN's most exceptional talent on full display! 🤙😝 'Tawba Walk festivities include: 💥 2 stages of Live Bands 🎸 💥 Over 100 local artists, craftsmen & vendors 🎪 💥 Local Craft Breweries 🍻 💥 Multiple Food Truck Courts 🚚 💥 2 Epic Kid Zones 🤸‍♂️ 💥 A Petting Zoo 🐮🐷 💥Ulti-Futbol Cage Soccer ⚽️ 💥 Street Art & Live Demonstrations 🎨 💥 Games, Give-a-ways, and more! 🎉 It all takes place right here in the heart of Old Town Cornelius (Oak St Mill, Town Hall and Catawba Ave.) so gather the crew, leash up your pups, call your neighbors, and make plans to be in #OTC on Sat Sept 28 for the return of the Lake's most action-packed community festival... the 'Tawba Walk! 🤩🎶🎈

Parking instructions

Parking is permitted within the town center including on-street parking (unless marked otherwise) the Town-owned lot adjacent to Food Lion, Cornelius Elementary and other satellite locations.

2 Stages of Live Bands

The Tawba Walk features 2 stages of live bands at Oak Street Mill and Cornelius Town Hall.

Multiple Food Truck Courts

Enjoy a variety of eats from many of the area's best restaurants on 4-wheels! There's truly something for everyone at the 'Tawba Walk!

Local Craft Breweries & Cideries

Come thirsty because the 'Tawba Walk features an all-star lineup of local breweries and ciderderies from the Lake Norman region.

2 EPIC Kid Zones

This year's festivities features not one, BUT TWO, incredibly cool Kid Zones brought to you by our friends at Newsong Church and the Lake Norman YMCA.

Artists and Craftsmen - offering unique and often hand-made products

$100 fee per 10' x 10' booth space
Artists and Craftsmen may opt to reserve up to (2) booth spaces
Artists and Craftsmen that operate from a mobile truck or trailer that does not fit in a 10' x 10' booth space will have an additional fee applied

The events committee will review each application based on the following criteria:

Locality of Artist / Craftsmen to the Lake Norman / Greater Charlotte area
Quality of Product or Service
Relevance to Event-specific Theme (if applicable)
Interactive Element for Event Attendees
1. By providing an interactive element to your booth, you increase the chances of attracting event attendees while enhancing the overall guest experience.

Acceptance response notifications will begin to be issued May 01 through the deadline Sept 14.

Businesses and Organizations

Deadline: Sep 14, 2024

Businesses and Organizations - includes small businesses, corporations and NPO's

Fee per 10' x 10' booth space ranges from $250 and up based on the type of business, booth placement and level of sponsorship participation (if applicable)
Businesses may opt to reserve up to (1) additional 10' x 10' booth space
Businesses that operate from a mobile truck or trailer may have additional fee applied

Select businesses will have the opportunity to participate as either Event Sponsors or Activity Sponsors. This allows us to maximize value for our corporate partners while increasing the overall quality of the event for attendees.

The events committee will review each application based on the following criteria:

Food and Beverage

Food and Beverage - trucks, trailers, carts and tents

Food Trucks/Trailers - Meals

$175 per space for truck or trailer (pick-up trucks will be required to unhitch from trailers)

Food Trucks/Trailers - Beverages and Desserts

$150 per space for truck or trailer (pick-up trucks will be required to unhitch from trailers)
- Includes dessert vendors (i.e shaved ice, ice cream, baked goods, etc.) and beverages (i.e. coffee, lemonade, smoothies, etc.)

Food Booths - food and beverage vendors that occupy only a 10' x 10' space and typically do not sell full meals

$125 per 10' x 10' booth space

NOTE: A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is required for ALL food and beverage vendors

Acceptance response notifications will begin to be issued May 01 through the deadline Sept 14.

Breweries, Cideries and Wineries

Breweries, Cideries & Wineries

Breweries, cideries and wineries are invited to participate in the fundraising component of this event through the sale of alcohol tickets through a designated 501(c)3 organization.
Interested participants please fill out the information on the designated application and event organizers will reach out with further details.

NOTE: A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is required for all alcohol vendors

Acceptance response notifications will begin to be issued May 01 through the deadline, Sept 14.
