About the event
Tanoshii Con is coming to the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach on August 22–23, 2026!
Saturday 10am to 6pm
Sunday 10am to 5pm
Join us for a two-day celebration of pop culture, featuring amazing actors, special Guests, talented cosplayers, incredible vendors, and local businesses. Whether you love anime, comics, fantasy, sci-fi, steampunk, horror, or all of the above – there’s something for everyone at Tanoshii Con.
Vendor spaces are now open, but spots are limited! Don’t miss the chance to be part of one of the most exciting and affordable conventions in Florida.

Wagons, rolling luggage, handcarts, or oversized strollers (during show hours)
Skateboards, scooters, roller skates, hoverboards, Heelys, bicycles, Segways
Noise & Disruptions
Portable speakers or sound amplification
Air horns, whistles, instruments (unless part of approved programming)
Large roaming signs (including solicitation or “free hugs” signs)
Food, Drink & Substances
Outside alcohol, flasks, coolers, or glass containers
Smoking, vaping, or illegal substances
Animals
Pets are not permitted
ADA-trained service animals only
Sales & Promotions
Unapproved flyers, giveaways, or merchandise distribution
Selling outside of assigned vendor/artist spaces
Content & Conduct
Items with explicit, hateful, or inappropriate messaging

Unattended bags, backpacks, or luggage

Terms & Conditions
Tanoshii Con’s cosplay guidelines are designed to keep everyone safe and comfortable while having fun. Costumes should be respectful, family-friendly, and avoid anything overly revealing, offensive, or containing hate symbols.
All props—especially anything resembling a weapon—must meet our safety standards. This means they must be made from lightweight, non-metal, non-sharp materials and may need to go through our peace-bonding check. Real weapons, functioning firearms, lasers, and props with dangerous or excessive spikes or points are not permitted.
For large or bulky costumes, a handler may be required to assist with navigation. Cosplayers whose costumes limit their vision should also take extra precautions to ensure safety for themselves and others.
