About the event
The Sweet Honey Artisans Market is a monthly popup market featuring Georgia bee keepers and women entrepreneurs. Our mission is to create a marketplace for Gwinnett county residents by providing access to local honey products and uniquely crafted women entrepreneurs. While we prioritize bee keepers and women entrepreneurs we accept applications from all who wish to apply. Located at Alexander Park in Lawrenceville, Ga. Alexander park is located directed off scenic highway near Sugarloaf parkway. The newly constructed park sits on 91 acres of land complete with playgrounds, pavilions, outdoor classrooms, dog park, pollinator garden, walking trails, golf course and so much more. The SHAM will be located at Lois Lane Pavilion which is the first pavilion when driving into the park. All traffic coming into the park must pass our market when entering or leaving. The market and our signs can be seen from one of the busiest sections of Scenic hwy. Alexander park receives up 2,000 daily visitors during the summer months which is why we decided on this park to be our market home. We invite you to apply to our opening dates May 19th and June 2nd application We accept a variety of mediums and vendor types to include Honey/bee products Jewelry/accessories Woodwork Glass Vintage Skincare Soaps Candles Art Ceramics Face painters Fresh flowers Henna Food trucks Food tents Beverage trucks Beverage tent And more. All vendors must have a white top straight leg tent with at least 40 lbs per leg. Alexander park sits higher than the road and can be extremely windy throughout the day. (NO CINDERBLOCK, NO WATERJUGS, NO WEIGHTS HANGING FROM TOP OF TENT) All food vendors must have a food sales license, and or cottage food license as well as an active insurance policy. Alexander Park and the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners requires all vendors to have an active liability insurance policy.

Parking instructions
All vendors will park near pavilion to unload, once you have unload you must move vehicles to toward the end of the parking. Organizers on site will instruct you to the exact parking location upon arrival. Food trucks will be parallel parked along the first parking space near the pavilion.

Otherwise, you must apply in Jewelry. All work displayed in the booth must be for sale.Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted.Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted. Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable. Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Reproduction prints are not allowed.Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.
