The Suwanee Arts Festival returns to Suwanee Town Center on April 29 &30, 2023! The festival features a juried exhibition of fine art and crafts from vendors across our area. We offer something for everyone from live performances to family areas and delicious food!

Suwanee Arts Festival will accept applications from artists working in diverse media. Artist applications may specify up to three of the media categories defined below. These categories organize artists' work into logical groups for a jury's review. While a balanced show is a principle objective, the festival establishes no quota by category.
 
Painting: The use of oils, acrylics, watercolors, casein, tempera, etc.
 
2-D Mixed Media: Includes more than one type of physical material such as collage, papermaking, encaustic, pen and ink, paint, pencil, watercolor, or photography.
 
Ceramics: Original shaped and fired clay and porcelain work other than jewelry, including earthenware, porcelain, and raku. Factory-produced work is not permitted. Original functional and non-functional work will be accepted, however if multiple pieces of the same design are displayed, each piece must be signed. No machine-made or mass-produced work is permitted.
 
Digital Art: Any original two-dimensional work for which the image is made by the artist using programs such as Illustrator, Painting programs, Photoshop or other software applications. Note: Traditional photographs taken through digital media should apply in the photography category.
 
Drawing: Works created using dry media including chalk, charcoal, pastels, pencil, wax crayon, etc. or from the fluid medium of inks and washes applied by pen or brush.
 
Graphics and Printmaking: Printed works for which the artist's hand manipulated the plates, stones or screens and which have been properly signed and numbered as a limited edition. Printmaking processes may include pulled plates, linoleum prints, etching, engraving, silkscreen or lithography. All photocopy, and/or offset reproductions will be rejected.
 
Fiber: All Decorative or fine wearables must be crafted from fibers including basketry, embroidery, weaving, leatherwork, tapestry and paper making. No machine tooling, machine-screened patterns or other forms of mass production are permitted. No factory produced wearable items, regardless of additional modification or enhancement by the artist will be accepted. Fine wearables must meet high level of skill and quality requirements.
 
Glass: An object made of glass including blown, fused, stained, cast and molded, except jewelry or garden art. Mass- or factory-produced work is not permitted. Embellishment of manufactured materials is not permitted.
 
Jewelry: All Jewelry crafted from metal, glass, stone, clay, or other materials. All work that is jewelry must be entered in this category regardless of the materials used. All work must be handcrafted by the artist; no factory production is permitted.
 
Metal: All metal non-sculptural works hand made by the artist. No production work. Jewelry incorporating metal must apply in the jewelry category. Mass or factory-produced work is not permitted.
 
Photography: Prints, transparencies or digital images made from the artist’s original negative or taken with a digital camera that has been processed by the artist are included in this category. Works may be printed on paper, metal, canvas or acrylic.
 
Sculpture: Three-dimensional works incorporating any material that is carved, modeled, constructed or cast. Mass or factory-produced work is not permitted.
 
3-D Mixed Media: Works that include more than one medium or material. Materials include, but are not limited to paint, cloth, paper, wood, found objects, and mosaics.
 
Wood: Original works in wood that are built, turned, carved or tooled. Embellished manufactured wood items are not permitted. Mass or factory-produced work is not permitted.

There are a limited number of food vendor spaces available for the show. This is a two-day event.

Vendor Rules:
  1. No GREASE allowed in the park except in a self contained food trailer.
2. Vendors must provide their own means of display within a 12 x 12 space.
3. Each vendor will be responsible for collecting Georgia sales tax on sales made during the festival, which must be submitted to the Georgia Department of Revenue
4. Your application is considered a commitment to show. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLATION BY THE ARTIST AFTER THE APPLICATIONS ARE JURIED.
5. Refunds will not be made for inclement weather or other acts of God over which the sponsors have no control, and the risk of loss from such an event shall be borne by the exhibitor. This is an outdoor show with no rain date.
6. NO glass bottles.
7. Suwanee Arts Festivals reserves the right to review all applications and limit vendors to avoid duplication of products offered.
8. Application submission does NOT guarantee acceptance.
9. Electricity is a paid amenity.
Suwanee Arts Festival will accept applications from Emerging artists working in diverse media.
 
Emerging Artists are classified as students.  Age range from 5-21.  
 
Each application must specify one of the media categories defined below. These categories organize artists' works into logical groups for displaying. PLEASE NOTE: In keeping with fine arts standards, artists should produce original works of art. Manufactured embellishments and/or pre-processed materials are discouraged.
 
Ceramics: Original shaped and fired clay and porcelain work other than jewelry, including earthenware, porcelain, and raku.
 
Digital Art: Any original two-dimensional work for which the original image, or the manipulation of other source material, by the artist using programs such as Drawing, Illustrator, Paint or other software applications.

Sculpture: Three-dimensional work is done in any 1 medium Three-dimensional works incorporating any material that is carved, modeled, constructed or cast. Must be hand sculpted/cast by the artist.
 
3-D Mixed Media: Includes more than one type of physical material such as mosaic, paper mache, clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood or any other 3-dimensional objects.
 
Wood: Original works in wood that are built, turned, carved or tooled.

The Suwanee Arts Festival will take place on April 29 & 30, 2023 at the beautiful Suwanee Town Center Park in Suwanee, Georgia.  
 
We are excited to partner with Georgia Grown.  
Application Fee is waived as a member of Georgia Grown.
Festival Fee is $100. 
 
Load in is Friday, April 28 from noon-6pm.  We help you!
We also have a short load in time on Saturday, April 29 from 6-8am.
Festival hours are Saturday, April 29 from 10am - 5pm.
There is a band on stage until 7pm, so you have the option to stay open until 7pm. 
You are only required to stay open until 5pm.
Festival hours on Sunday are from noon to 5pm.
We have security in the park on Friday and Saturday evening.

Please note the $10 fee for the Authors Tent is available to all Suwanee Arts Center members.  To join the Arts Center, simply go to SuwaneeArtsCenter.org and click on membership.  
 
Also please note the Authors Tent will have several authors under one tent roof.
