Parking instructions
Parking at Surfside Music Festival (Doheny State Beach) is first-come, first-served for $15-$20 per vehicle, with overflow parking at Dana Hills High School (33333 Golden Lantern) and a $5 shuttle
Health & safety
Sun and Heat Protection: Apply sunscreen (SPF 30+) every two hours, seek shade, and wear hats/sunglasses.
Hydration: Drink water constantly; limit alcohol, which causes dehydration.
Crowd Safety: Identify exits and first aid stations upon arrival. Use a buddy system and avoid getting crushed in surging crowds.
Valuables: Keep phones and wallets secure in front pockets or fanny packs to prevent theft.
Emergencies: Know the symptoms of heat exhaustion (dizziness, nausea, headache) and heat stroke (confusion, hot/dry skin).
Kid Safety: Put contact information in children's pockets and take a photo of them upon arrival.
Hearing Protection: Use earplugs for loud, long-lasting music.

Prohibited Items: Knives, weapons, fireworks, explosives, laser pointers, and glass containers are strictly prohibited.
Cameras & Recording: Professional or "pro-sumer" cameras and video/recording equipment are not allowed.
Outside Items: No outside food or beverages may be brought into the festival grounds.
Vehicles: Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and motorized vehicles (other than ADA-approved) are not allowed inside.
Conduct: Illegal substances are forbidden.
