Event Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026
By submitting an application or participating in the Sunnyside Music Festival (“FESTIVAL”), the undersigned (“VENDOR”) agrees to comply with all terms and conditions outlined below, as well as all applicable requirements of the City and County of Denver, including the Office of Special Events (OSE), Denver Parks & Recreation, and the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment (DDPHE).
Tent & Canopy Safety – Required Protocol
All vendors supplying their own tent or canopy must comply with Denver Parks & Recreation regulations and Sunnyside Music Festival safety standards.
• 40‑Pound Weight Protocol (Mandatory):
• Each tent leg must be secured with a minimum of 40 pounds per leg (160 lbs total for a 10’ x 10’ tent).
• Acceptable weights include commercially manufactured canopy weights, sandbags, or water barrels rated at 40 lbs or more.
• Weights must be securely attached to the tent frame.
• Stakes, spikes, or ground penetration of any kind are strictly prohibited in Chaffee Park.
• Vendors without compliant weights must rent approved weights (if available) or remove their tent.
• Failure to comply may result in removal from the festival without refund.
Insurance Requirements
All vendors, sponsors, exhibitors, and any companies conducting business on-site at the Sunnyside Music Festival (SMF) are required to provide proof of insurance. This requirement is mandated by Sunnyside Music Festival and the City & County of Denver.
Vendors must request a Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) from their insurance provider that meets the requirements outlined below.

Required Coverage
All Certificates of Insurance must meet the following minimum requirements:
General Liability Insurance:
$1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate
Automobile Liability Insurance:
$1,000,000 minimum, required if any vehicles are used during the event, including load-in and load-out
Workers’ Compensation Insurance:
Required if the vendor is bringing employees on-site, with state-mandated limits of
$100,000 / $500,000 / $100,000
Certificate Holder & Additional Insured Requirements
The Certificate of Insurance must list the following as Additional Insured:

City & County of Denver
And all partners, trustees, members, managers, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and assigns of each of the above-mentioned affiliates
Food Safety, Licensing & Health Compliance
All food vendors must comply with the requirements of the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment (DDPHE), the City and County of Denver, and the Office of Special Events (OSE). Vendors are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required food licenses and permits. All food must be prepared, stored, and served in approved, licensed facilities. Non-compliance may result in immediate closure and removal from the event without refund.
Sales Tax Compliance
Vendors are solely responsible for collecting and remitting all applicable City and County of Denver and State of Colorado sales taxes. The FESTIVAL assumes no responsibility for vendor tax obligations. Vendors engaged in promotional or outreach activities only, with no sales, may disregard this requirement.
Vendor Booth Agreement – Terms & Conditions
Right to Sell
VENDOR may sell or distribute only those items explicitly listed and approved in the vendor application.
Prohibited Items & Materials
Alcohol, unauthorized Sunnyside Music Festival merchandise, glitter of any kind, glitter hair extensions, and balloons are strictly prohibited.
Hours of Operation
Vendor booths must be fully staffed, set up, and operational for the duration of the festival, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Booth Size & Layout
Standard booth size is 10’ x 10’. Booth placement is assigned at the sole discretion of the FESTIVAL unless a prime booth is purchased. Prime booth purchases can choose their booth location.
Load-In & Load-Out
All vendor materials, equipment, and trash must be removed from the event site by 9:00 PM on the event date. General vendor load out may commence at 7:00pm, earlier load-out is not permitted without prior written approval. Kid vendors load out commences at 5pm.
Conduct & Compliance
To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees, vendors are expected to maintain professional conduct and follow all instructions from festival staff, security, and City officials. Any vendor found to be intoxicated, or offering non-approved CBD, THC, or psychedelic mushroom products, will be asked to leave the event and will forfeit their booth fee.
Security & Liability
Vendors are responsible for the security of their own property. VENDOR agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the FESTIVAL, the City and County of Denver, and their respective officers, employees, contractors, and volunteers from any claims arising from vendor participation.
Agreement & Enforcement
Any violation of these Terms & Conditions, or of applicable City, County, or State regulations, may result in immediate termination of vendor participation and removal from the event without refund.
