Nature's bounty is all around us! Discover the world of foraging wild edible mushrooms and plants in our Spring Foraging Workshop on Friday, May 29th, with guest speaker, Hoosier Forager - Tim Frost!
Come along as Tim discusses the basics and ethics of foraging, how to identify some common edible mushrooms and plants, what parts are edible, and the best time to harvest each one. Then, Tim will guide participants on a hike around the EEC to locate and ID some wild edibles. You might even get to try some!
We are offering two sessions on Sunday, May 3rd, so you can choose which one to attend! One session is from 1 PM - 3 PM and the other is from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM.
Tickets are $10 per person.
This workshop is recommended for those ages 12 and up.
Advanced registration is limited and required by Wednesday, April 26th.
