Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair 2027

With over 45 categories, the competition has something for everyone. Skeins, Knitting, Crochet, Weaving, Tapestry, Felting, Repurposed Wool, Fiber Hooking, Other Techniques and Youth categories. Located in the Davis Arena Lobby, Conference Room. Stop by and be inspired!

Spinners: This one's for you! Fresh from the sheep (and goats, alpacas, etc) you can find raw fleeces ready for processing. Our fiber farmers bring their fleeces for the show where they'll be professionally judged and made available to you. You'll find lots of natural color fleeces from many different breeds. Located on the Upper deck of the McGough Arena, the fleece sale is Friday and Saturday only. Support our hardworking fiber farmers and build your knowledge base. Meet the sheep while you are at it!

Look for demonstrations throughout the Fiber Fair. You'll find hands-on weaving and educational information in the Davis Lobby, vendors who want you to show you their newest tools and techniques, and watch sheep being sheared - future yarn! If you are here on Sunday, don't miss the Border Collies doing their thing in the Covered Arena. Check your program for more!

Here at SAFF, Animal is our middle name! Don't miss the sheep and Angora & Pygora goat shows that happen all day Saturday and Sunday in the McGough Arena. Watch the young people and adults show their animals, while getting valuable feedback from professional judges.
