The SMU Mustangs are going into the 2021-2022 season ranked 45 in the Oracle ITA Division I Men's Team Rankings with immense talent and positive team dynamics to win the championship this season.
In 2020-21, Coach Chen led the Mustangs to the conference semifinal. The Mustangs recorded the most wins since 2016 and climbed to their best end of regular season ranking in five seasons.
