Skeleton Festival brings downtown Harrisonburg to life, each October, with trick-or-treating at 60+ downtown businesses, costume contests, Sip & Stroll for those aged 21+, crafts, vendors, and more. With a special low-sensory trick-or-treat hour and nods to Día de los Muertos traditions, it’s a fun, welcoming celebration for the whole community.

This event is organized by Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the mission to build Downtown Harrisonburg as a destination where businesses thrive and people enjoy memorable experiences.

Parking instructions
There will be ample event parking in Downtown Harrisonburg for this event, including additional private lots open to the public on the event date. Parking will be accessible from Mason Street and Liberty Street.
Public parking is available all day in most municipal parking lots. Street parking is also available on Liberty Street between Grattan Street and Warren Street.
Guests will be able to park in hourly spots without time penalty. Please adhere to any posted tow-away zones, accessible parking spaces, and Restricted Parking areas.
