A perfect afternoon of whiskey, local shopping, food, and fun in Downtown Smithville! Sip the Square: A Whiskey Social — Rescheduled Date Saturday, September 26, 20262:00–5:00 PM Historic Downtown Smithville The Smithville Main Street District invites you to join us for the rescheduled Sip the Square: A Whiskey Social, now happening alongside the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Backyard BBQ Bash and the Downtown Market! Originally scheduled for June, this event has been rescheduled and will now be part of a full day of activities in Downtown Smithville on Saturday, September 26. Ticket holders will enjoy 10+ whiskey tasting stops throughout downtown. Each tasting stop offers a chance to sample something new while exploring local businesses, shops, and spaces throughout the district. The fun doesn’t stop with whiskey! Guests can enjoy a putt putt course, yard games, and activities throughout downtown, plus stop into one of our many downtown restaurants for a bite to eat. The Downtown Market will also feature local vendors offering shopping and unique finds, while the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its Backyard BBQ Bash and amateur BBQ competition. Whether you’re joining us for the whiskey, the BBQ, the shopping, the music, or all of it, there will be plenty to see and do throughout the day! Whiskey Social tickets are required for the whiskey tasting experience. You do not need a ticket to come downtown and enjoy the Downtown Market, BBQ Bash, yard games, and overall community atmosphere. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors and make a day of it in Downtown Smithville! Proceeds from this portion of the event support the Smithville Main Street District and our mission to preserve, promote, revitalize, and enrich the historic and economic heart of Downtown Smithville. Your participation helps support local businesses and creates memorable experiences for our community.

Your ticket is your pass to Sip the Square: A Whiskey Social! Enjoy 10+ whiskey tasting stops throughout Downtown Smithville featuring selections from West Bottoms Whiskey and other featured whiskeys. Sip, stroll, and explore local businesses while enjoying a laid-back afternoon in the heart of downtown. Your ticket includes access to the whiskey tasting experience. Must be 21+ to participate and a valid government-issued photo ID is required. Not a whiskey drinker? You can still join the fun! No ticket is required to enjoy the Downtown Market, putt putt, yard games, local shops, and downtown restaurants throughout the event. This is the rescheduled date for the event originally planned for June 6, 2026.
Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket to Sip the Square: A Whiskey Social, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Age Requirement All attendees participating in whiskey tastings must be 21 years of age or older. Valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in and may be requested at any tasting location. No exceptions. 2. Ticket Policy Tickets are required to participate in the whiskey tasting portion of the event. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold. Tickets are valid only for the rescheduled event date of September 26, 2026. 3. Tastings Each ticket includes access to the designated whiskey tasting stops throughout downtown. Tastings are subject to availability and may vary by location. Participants are expected to drink responsibly. 4. No Outside Alcohol Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted in designated event areas. All alcohol must be served and consumed in accordance with applicable laws and event regulations. 5. Event Activities Putt putt, yard games, the Downtown Market, and other activities are available to attendees but may be subject to availability, weather, or other circumstances. 6. Weather policy; Event Changes The event will take place as scheduled unless otherwise announced by the Smithville Main Street District. Event details, tasting locations, vendors, or activities may be changed or canceled due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. 7. Refunds Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the Smithville Main Street District. If the event is canceled, refund information will be communicated to ticket holders. 8. Responsible Consumption Guests are expected to consume alcohol responsibly and follow all event rules and instructions. Smithville Main Street District reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest who is intoxicated, disruptive, or not following event rules. 9. Personal Responsibility Attendees participate in the event and its activities at their own risk. Smithville Main Street District is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings or for injuries resulting from participation in event activities, except where prohibited by law. 10. Event Participation By attending, you agree to follow all applicable laws, event rules, and instructions from event staff, participating businesses, and alcohol servers.
