About the event

The Official Shreveport Farmers’ Market is open Saturdays, May 30 through August 29, 2026, from 8am-12pm at Shreveport's Festival Plaza! MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of Shreveport Farmers’ Market is to encourage a strong local food system; increase sustainability of independent local farmers, ranchers, and food producers; and foster stewardship of land and community through a public market. We seek to provide a forum creating cooperation among farmers, other vendors, and our community, while educating consumers, offering a market for farmers to sell their goods, serving as a business incubator for food artisans, and bring together people from the Northwest Louisiana, Far East Texas, and Southern Arkansas region.

Parking instructions

Public parking is available on streets at meters (free on Saturdays), behind Riverview Hall, or on the lower level of Festival Plaza adjacent to SciPort. Handicapped parking is available on Commerce St., or in the Overlook Lot close to the pavilion.

Health & safety

Only service animals are allowed in the market, but please pick up a nice treat for your pet when you visit. No Pets. There are accessible public restrooms on site, underneath the Spring Street Bridge.

We’re so glad you’re interested in becoming a vendor at the Shreveport Farmers’ Market! All prospective vendors are asked to complete an application so we can ensure the best possible mix of products and experiences for our community.

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, and all vendors are reviewed and approved each year. Once your application has been carefully considered, the Market Manager will notify you of your status (approved, waitlisted, or not accepted) in writing via email.

We truly appreciate your interest and look forward to learning more about what you have to offer!

You will be put on a waitlist pending approval. No charges will take place until you are officially confirmed to be a vendor.
