This is the first-ever Pirate Festival in Shippensburg Pennsylvania! Onsitew parking and restrooms. Shows, vendors, food, games, and music will all be available!

Event parking will be in the north and south lots of the park. More parking may become available and further information will become available closer to the event.

Welcome to the event! Please take a look through our applications and let us know if you have any questions. This is an electronic agreement, and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

 

We have 6 slots available for food trucks/trailers. Generators are allowed for food trucks and trailers. All food will be placed in the same area with a designated eating area for patrons. Location placement for food trucks and trailers is on a first-come, first-served basis during the event. 

 

Please fill out the application and include pictures of your truck and food. 

 

The fee to park your Food truck/trailer for the weekend is $100 plus 10% of sales for the weekend to be collected Saturday and Sunday nights at close.

Welcome to the event! This is the first event put on by the Black Flag Trading Company for Black Flag events with sponsorship by La Forge out of Lancaster! 

 

With this being our first event, Pop-ups are allowed along with period-appropriate tents. If a tent is needed, please list that under special requests, and we will let you know about local tent rental areas. 

 

All items and applications need to be in the theme of being handmade. No art resellers, mass-made 3D printed items, or open-source 3D printed items will be allowed. 

Please take a look through our applications and let us know if you have any questions. This is an electronic agreement, and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

Categories:

Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.

Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable clothing and costuming. 

Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes, are permitted. 

Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.

Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category. We are not accepting any blade sellers at this time. 

Mixed Media: Work that combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.

Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.

Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature. 

Leather: Any items made from leather, whether it's armor, accessories, belts etc. 

Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works.

Reproduction prints are not allowed.

Wood: Original works that are hand-tooled, machine-worked, turned, or carved.

 

All items just need to be listed on the application, along with pictures of the product submitted, so they may be juried in, so that we can limit the overlap of products. Only items approed for selling may be in the booth.
