Sacramento Pride March and Festival will return to Sacramento’s Capitol Mall for a weekend of entertainment, education, and community. The two-day festival brings together 20,000+ community members to celebrate the colorful culture and community of Sacramento’s LGBTQ+ population. The festival grounds boast two festival entertainment stages, a youth focused entertainment space, dance areas, youth and family activities, hundreds of local vendors, food trucks, beverage stations with specialty cocktails as well as non-alcoholic drinks, and a 21+ VIP Lounge. One-day and two-day tickets are available, and are required for entry to the festival. Sac Pride’s three stages include: the Q-Spot Live youth stage, the 4th Street community stage, and the 5th Street Pride Stage – all hosted by Sacramento-favorite drag performers. Saturday’s lineup of entertainment will include incredible performances sourced from Sacramento’s creative economy, and conclude with a sunset showcase of the festival’s headlining acts. Sunday morning brings the most anticipated event of the weekend to life, the Sacramento Pride March, a parade beginning at South Side Park (where Sac Pride began!) and concluding at the California State Capitol building and entrance to the festival. Sac Pride March will bring 5,000+ spectators and is free to the public.

Sustainability Initiative: "PLANET PROUD"
Sacramento Pride aims to be the greenest Pride in the nation! In 2024 & 2025 the festival diverted nearly 2 tons of waste out of the landfill and into organic and renewable waste streams. All contingents must comply with our Planet Proud initiatives or risk expulsion from the event:
- No use of non-recyclable single use plastics or Styrofoam containers (please bring reusable water bottles, or purchase an approved bottle from the festival on-site)
- No cellophane wrapped swag on-site, please unwrap swag ahead of time and dispose of wrappers responsibly
- All exhibitors must have a waste receptacle with their contingent, make this available to guests for things such as sticker backs or other waste
- Contingents are responsible for removing all their trash from the parade route and staging areas before and after event
- All decorative items must be cleaned completely from contingents, including popped balloons, feathers, streamers, zip ties etc.
- Use of Festival dumpsters is available in a limited capacity, and is at the discretion of the on-site event waste management team - exhibitors are expected to "pack in and pack out" all waste
- Trash receptacles are extremely limited at Southside Park and along the parade route, please only bring what is needed and plan to take all waste with you
Accessibility:
- American Sign Language Interpreters will be provided on all entertainment stages and at key areas throughout the festival grounds
- Wheelchair ramps are located throughout the festival but may not be available throughout entirety of Parade route
- In order to power the event, cords may cut across pathways - these will be ramped or taped down securely
- Complimentary mobility device check out for guests based on availability from guest services at Festival
- Please include any accessibility needs in your application
- Restrooms and water stations are extremely limited at Southside Park and along the parade route

To apply for a contingent space at the Sac Pride March, please visit our other events here on EventHub.
Sacramento Pride March is a free to the public event to attend, and does not require a ticket.
To participate in the Pride March as a contingent a registration must be made and completed on EventHub.
Contingent fees are determined by type of organization applying, add-ons selected, and size of contingent.
Sacramento Pride March is a separate event from Sacramento Pride Festival. Registering or purchasing a marching contingent does not include entry for marchers to the Sac Pride Festival. Tickets for the festival can be purchased at Sacramentopride.org
For more information on tickets or to purchase 50+ bulk* tickets please contact pride.tickets@saccenter.org
*Bulk tickets will be priced at the lowest current listed selling price for the ticket type being purchased.
All contingents are considered "walking contingents" unless vehicles are selected in the add-on section of your order.
Space in the staging area is limited, and we must account for every vehicle parked in the staging area. If a vehicle is not marked on your application/order, then it will not be permitted into the staging area or allowed to participate in the Pride March - no exceptions.
All vehicle drivers will be required to show their valid drivers license for the vehicle type upon check in to the staging area. Vehicle proof of insurance and current registration will also be required, failure to present either at time of check-in will result in the vehicle being removed from the Pride March, with no refund to your order.
