Each Sunday, residents will gather to shop fresh, support small businesses, and connect with the people who grow and make the products they love.

 

We’re now accepting vendor applications from passionate growers, makers, and producers who want to be part of this exciting new market.

-Meat & poultry producers (beef, pork, chicken, eggs)

Terms & Conditions
Rockdale Farmers Market – Vendor Terms & Conditions To ensure a safe, welcoming, and well‑organized market for our community, all vendors must agree to the following Terms & Conditions: 1. Market Schedule & Attendance The Rockdale Farmers Market operates Sundays, April 19 – October 30, 2026, from 12 PM–3 PM. Vendors must be fully set up by 11:45 AM. No early breakdown is permitted. Vendors must remain open until 3 PM, unless market management ends the event early for safety reasons. Repeated absences or late arrivals may affect future participation. 2. Booth Setup & Equipment Vendors must provide their own tents, tables, chairs, and display materials. All tents must be weighted with 25–40 lbs per leg. Unweighted tents will not be allowed to open. Displays must be stable, secure, and safe for public interaction. There is no electricity available. Small, quiet, gas‑powered generators are permitted and must be operated safely without creating hazards or excessive noise. 3. Weather & Force Majeure The market is rain or shine. Booth fees are non‑refundable, including for weather‑related absences. In the event of severe weather, natural disasters, emergencies, or other force majeure circumstances, market management may delay opening, close early, or cancel the market for safety. 4. Product Categories & Display Rules Vendors may only display and sell products that were submitted and approved in their application. Items outside your approved category may not be displayed or sold without written approval from market management. All displays must be kind, family‑friendly, and appropriate for all ages. Political campaigning, political signage, or campaign‑related merchandise is not permitted. 5. Prohibited Items & Behavior To maintain a safe and welcoming environment: No weapons of any kind are allowed on market property. No drugs or illegal substances are permitted. No alcohol may be consumed, sold, or displayed by vendors. Vendors must comply with all local laws and venue rules. 6. Cottage Food & Licensing Requirements As of July 2025 (HB 398), Georgia no longer requires a cottage‑food license for qualifying homemade foods. Vendors must still follow all Georgia Department of Agriculture guidelines, including proper labeling, safe handling, and approved product types. Meat, poultry, and egg vendors must comply with all state and federal regulations. 7. Safety Requirements Vendors must maintain a clean, safe booth at all times. Cords, equipment, and displays must not create tripping hazards. Any unsafe setup must be corrected immediately or removed from the market. 8. Payments & Fees All booth fees must be paid through Eventeny. All fees are non‑refundable, including for weather, absence, or schedule conflicts. 9. Conduct & Professionalism Vendors must treat customers, staff, and fellow vendors with courtesy and respect. No aggressive sales tactics, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate language. Vendors are responsible for cleaning their space and removing all trash at the end of the market day. 10. Market Management Rights The Rockdale Farmers Market reserves the right to: Approve, deny, or reassign vendor categories Remove vendors who violate rules or create unsafe conditions Modify policies as needed to ensure a successful and safe market season
