Join us in celebrating Puerto Rican culture at this year’s Puerto Rican Parade! We’re excited to invite volunteers to represent FusionFest alongside Orange County Government during this vibrant and meaningful event. As part of this celebration, you’ll have the opportunity to carry a flag, walk alongside community members, and proudly show your support for the Puerto Rican community. Together, we’ll honor the community’s incredible contributions to art, culture, science, music, education, and so much more. This is a wonderful chance to connect with others, celebrate heritage, and be part of a joyful, spirited experience. Whether you’ve attended before or this is your first parade, we welcome you to join us for an unforgettable day filled with unity and pride. Please note: Registration is mandatory to participate. Come and join FusionFest as we celebrate and honor our Puerto Rican Community during the Annual Puerto Rican Parade. We are excited to invite volunteers to represent your culture alongside FusionFest and Orange County Government in this vibrant cultural celebration.

As part of this experience, you’ll have the opportunity to carry a flag, walk alongside community members, and proudly showcase our collective support for culture and community.

What to Wear & Bring

Wear your cultural attire or a FusionFest T-shirt

No commercial T-shirts or branded clothing, please

Bring your instruments, drums, and lots of joy.

Limited spaces available

We will provide one flag per country, available on a first come, first served basis.

Carry your flag proudly and walk alongside FusionFest community, Orange County Government and community members.

Registration deadline: April 19 at 11:00 PM If spots fill quickly, the application will close early.

We’re thrilled to have you join us as a volunteer for the Puerto Rican Parade! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review our friendly terms and conditions below: -Respect and Inclusivity: We encourage all volunteers to be respectful and inclusive of everyone participating in the parade. This event is about celebrating culture, unity, and pride, and we ask that all volunteers uphold these values. -Safety First:Your safety is our priority! Please follow all instructions provided by parade organizers and staff. Stay with the group and be aware of your surroundings throughout the event.-Flag Carrying and Parade Participation:Volunteers will have the opportunity to carry a flag and walk alongside the Orange County Government float. Please be mindful of the float’s route and avoid distractions while participating.-Dress Code:Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and shoes for walking. We recommend you bring sunscreen and water, as the weather can vary.-Event Schedule. Please be on time! We ask volunteers to to ensure we’re ready arrive on time to participate in the parade. Detailed instructions will be provided closer to the event date. Communication:We’ll stay in touch with volunteers via email leading up to the event with important updates and reminders. Be sure to check your inbox for any last-minute information.- Photography:By participating in this event, you may appear in photos or videos taken during the parade. These photos may be used for promotional purposes. If you have any concerns, please let us know ahead of time.-Weather:The parade will take place rain or shine, so please be prepared for all types of weather. If there are any major changes to the event due to unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you as soon as possible.
