Welcome the season with a magical evening of holiday cheer. Shop locally at stores open late and come together at the plaza to watch our tree light up for the season. Downtown Martinez will become a winter wonderland for the evening with family activities, dessert food trucks, Pink Friday late night shopping, train rides, live music, and the lighting of our Downtown Plaza tree.

Tree Lighting
Gather in our downtown plaza for the annual lighting of our holiday tree. The tree will be lit at 8:00pm to give you plenty of time to enjoy all the festivities.

Entertainment Zone
Celebrate the holidays with the opening of the Downtown Martinez Entertainment Zone, a new program passed by the City of Martinez allowing participants to walk through downtown with their drinks. Grab a drink in the plaza or at participating bars and restaurants.

NuVision Holiday Express Train Rides
Grab your free ticket to the holiday season at the NuVision Train Depot! The train will be chugging through downtown offering free rides to all! The NuVision Train Depot is also our Toys for Tots drop off location. Bring a new, packaged toy to make someone's holiday a little brighter.

Welcome the season with a magical evening of holiday cheer in Downtown Martinez. Shop locally at stores open late, enjoy family friendly activities, and come together at the plaza to watch our tree light up for the season. While RSVPs are not required for this event, each RSVP enters you into our raffle for a shopping day in Martinez. The raffle winner will be picked directly before the tree lighting. Winners MUST be present in the plaza at the time of the drawing.

Join us for one of Downtown Martinez’s most festive events of the year! Pink Friday brings together small businesses, makers, and the community to kick off the holiday season. 

 

Showcase your products at our Outdoor Evening Market—a magical night filled with pink-lit storefronts, holiday music, and hundreds of shoppers ready to support local.
