Penn Fest temporarily closes Penn Avenue to car traffic and welcomes community groups, local businesses, and vendors to create a fun and festive environment for people to walk, bike, skate and gather along the avenue.
An estimated 10,000+ people from all over the Twin Cities attend this event.

Or maybe you have another talent you'd like to share. Penn Fest is a fun and eclectic event, so we're open to creative ideas. Tell us what you'd like to do as an entertainer and we'll be in touch to discuss your idea. This category is open to both individuals and groups. Calling all community groups and non-profits! Penn Fest is your opportunity to promote your mission, attract new supporters or simply get the word out about your organization or cause. With thousands of people attending, it's your chance to meet neighbors who'd like to know about your organization.
One bit of advice. We'd like you to plan an activity to help engage the public. We require this for your benefit. Experience shows exhibitors who just sit by a table with a pile of brochures get little attention. Plan some type of activity that will help engage the public and drawn people to your booth. It doesn't have to be an elaborate activity, but creativity is encouraged. Application is for a single booth that is 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep. Please inquire with us if you need additional space.

Artisans, crafters and other small home-based businesses! Wondering how to get the word out about your business? Penn Fest is your chance to meet new customers. Penn Fest has a history of bringing in thousands of people. Just think of all the new contacts you can have for spending a few hours on a Sunday afternoon! Our event is open to both entrepreneurs looking to sell products and people who'd simply like to promote to build a client list for future business. In addition to artisans and crafters, this category is also suitable for service providers like handyman services, pet sitters, home improvement services, lawn and garden providers and more. This registration category is limited to small home-based businesses.

The classic car show is open to domestic and import vehicles 2006 and older. The first 100 cars to show up will receive a free swag bag. Register here to ensure your spot. Trophies will be awarded for People's Choice plus four other categories: Domestic, Modified domestic, British, and European.
Check in between 11:00am and 12:00pm. The event runs from 12 - 5. Trophies will be awarded at 4:00pm. From 494, take the Penn Ave. exit and proceed north on Penn Ave. to the registrations tent at 75th and Penn.

Since 2008, Penn Fest has grown into Richfield’s premiere street fair, welcoming more than 10,000 annual guests from Richfield and the surrounding Twin Cities area. Penn Avenue is closed from Highway 62 to 70th Street and is filled with over 150 vendors, performers, and activities, including live bands, dance groups, BMX daredevils, a pet zone, food trucks, local restaurants, and merchants, artists, community resource groups, and other organizations. Penn Fest 2026 will take place on Sunday, September 20th, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
