Downtown Is Pawsome Garden Party

The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to announce the third Downtown is Pawsome outdoor placemaking exhibit. Celebrating a local landmark and American icon, this year’s program will feature regional artists customizing ten 3-foot-tall sculptures of Albany’s famous canine resident Nipper. These painted pups will help creatively reinvent the spaces shared by our neighbors, employees and visitors. The Garden Party will serve as the official unveiling ceremony for the 10 new statues included in this year's placemaking exhibit. The celebration will include complimentary beverages and food by the SEAT Center, and music by DJ Trumastr.
