Open Studio: Clay 2026

Open studio is the opportunity for people to utilize our materials and equipment to work on personal projects in our clay studio. Think of it like an independent study in clay! Students will pay a fee of $40 that includes use of the studio for 3 hours, 4 pounds of clay, paint-on glazes and kiln firings. The Clay Studio Manager will be present to answer questions and can help with simple projects. Additional clay can be purchased for $10 per pound before or during open studio hours. Hand-building equipment available includes a slab roller, clay extruder, molds, a variety of texture tools and stamps, and more. If you have a specific project in mind come with sketches or printouts! If you are looking to use our pottery wheels, you MUST have prior experience using that equipment and comfortable working independently. Wheels are limited month to month depending on Open Studio: Clay Monthly Membership enrollment. Tickets will indicate if wheel spots are available. This workshop is non-refundable after the registration deadline passes.
