"The Old Fourth Ward Park Arts Festival is a two-day celebration of community and tradition presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, created for people of all ages, races, customs, and interests. Held in what is considered to be the most up-and-coming neighborhood in Metro Atlanta, this festival is a major celebration of the arts while honoring the rich history and cultural heritage of the community.At the Old Fourth Ward Park Arts Festival, there is something for everyone. Approximately 100 carefully selected artists will showcase fine arts and crafts, while visitors can enjoy a dedicated children's play area, local food and beverage concessions, and live acoustic entertainment. All of this takes place within the environment of Atlanta's most lovely park—Historic Fourth Ward Park—and is part of the larger celebration of the Beltline redevelopment initiative.This historic area, formerly flanked by ""City Hall East,"" is now under exciting redevelopment as Ponce City Market and is targeted as one of the prime examples of urban redevelopment and innovation in the Southeast.
