Saturday, November 7 | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM Hessel School House Instructor: Artist Connie Thompson Class Fee: $75.00 Celebrate the beauty of autumn while learning the art of stained glass! Join artist Connie Thompson for a hands-on adult art class at the Hessel School House and create your own colorful stained glass fall leaf. Connie will guide participants through the process step by step, making this class approachable and enjoyable for artists of all experience levels. All materials, tools, and instruction are provided, so you can simply come ready to learn, create, and have fun. By the end of the class, each participant will leave with a beautiful handcrafted stained glass fall leaf to take home and enjoy as a seasonal decoration or keepsake.

PAINT N SIP • 6:00 – 8:00 pm (ADULT CLASS) Got nothing to do during Deer Hunting Season? Enjoy an evening out by painting at Hessel School House! Artist Karen Mazzoline will guide you through the process of creating an owl in the moonlight using acrylic paints. Learn how to create a silhouette effect and light reflections on canvas! All materials will be provided, and no experience is necessary to be part of the fun! Come bring a friend and your favorite fall beverage as we paint the night away! Class Fee: $40

INK CARDS 10 AM – NOON (ADULT) Spend the morning with artist Karen Mazzoline as she shares her love of creating with ink! Learn how to work in this medium to create beautiful lines and textures! Choose from three themes for your cards and get ready to ink! By the end of class, you get to take home 2 – 3 hand made cards for you to share or to keep! All materials and instruction will be provided. Class Fee: $40

Join artist Connie Thompson and learn how to create your own charming stained glass pumpkin. Connie will guide participants through the process step by step, making the class fun and approachable for a variety of experience levels. All materials, tools, and instruction are provided, so you can focus on learning the techniques and enjoying the creative process. At the end of the class, each participant will take home a beautiful handcrafted stained glass pumpkin—a perfect piece of autumn décor or a unique keepsake to enjoy year after year.

ORNAMENT MAKING CLASS 1:00 – 3:00 PM (ADULTS) Want to get ready to trim your trees with handmade ornaments? Artist Marissa Wissner will guide you in the process of using various materials for stunning ornaments for your home! Choose materials, colors, and textures as you learn to design and creating your treasures! All projects are beginner friendly and all materials will be provided! Class Fee: $40

Join Charlotte Hefner for an engaging introduction to genealogy and learn practical ways to start uncovering the people, places, and stories that make up your family tree. This class is perfect for beginners, but it will also be packed with useful tips and ideas for those who have already started exploring their ancestry. Charlotte will share helpful strategies for organizing information, researching family records, following clues, and avoiding some of the common roadblocks that can make genealogy feel overwhelming. Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of how to approach family-history research, along with practical tools and techniques they can continue using on their own. Whether you are just beginning your genealogy journey or have been dabbling in family research for a while, this class offers a welcoming opportunity to learn, ask questions, and dig a little deeper into your family story.
