The Wendell Market creates the opportunity for people to buy locally grown and produced products. The market seeks to increase access to fresh, locally produced food for all people, encourage, support, and promote the efforts of local and independent farmers and artisans, and create an opportunity for people to meet, eat, and gather to promote a sense of community. 

 

Participation in the Wendell Market is open to growers, harvesters, bakers, makers of prepared food, and artisans. The market strives to be a producer's-only market. Vendors must participate in the production of the products they sell. This may include immediate family, partners, employees or local cooperative groups that are part of the production process. No multi-level marketing (MLM) vendors are allowed.

 

Included within the application is a "hold harmless" agreement that all vendors must sign. This agreement means the producer will hold the Town of Wendell and its representatives harmless concerning product liability or any other factor that relate specifically to the vendor's business practice.
