Health & Safety Guidelines — Candle-Making Workshop
For the comfort and safety of all guests, please review the following policies before attending:
Hot Wax Safety
This workshop involves hot wax. Please pour slowly and carefully.
Use only the wax provided. Do not carry hot wax around the room.
If hot wax contacts your skin, notify the instructor immediately and do not rub the area.
Keep sleeves, hair, jewelry, and hands away from the pitcher and jar while pouring.
Workspace and Etiquette
Keep your workstation tidy and free of personal items.
Return tools to your tray when not in use.
Avoid leaning across another guest’s workspace.
Please remain seated while pouring unless instructed otherwise.
Fragrance Awareness
Fragrance oils should not be applied to skin.
Avoid smelling fragrances directly from the bottle.
Guests with asthma, scent sensitivities, or migraines should participate at their discretion.
Wash hands after handling fragrance oils.
Clothing and Personal Safety
Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Long hair should be tied back.
Avoid loose sleeves where possible.
Aprons will be available or are recommended.
Food and Drinks
Please keep food and beverages off the table during pouring.
Refreshments may be enjoyed after pouring is complete.
Children and Guests
Due to hot materials, children must remain seated and supervised at all times.
Non-ticketed guests should stay outside of the work area.
Accidents and First Aid
First-aid supplies are available.
Report spills, burns, or broken glass to the instructor immediately.
If something does not feel safe, please pause and ask for assistance.
Liability and Participation
By participating, you acknowledge that heated materials are being used and agree to follow all safety instructions.
Guests who disregard safety directions may be asked to step back from pouring.
