Mx St Pete Pride Pageant

Welcome to the Mx. St Pete Pride 2025 Pageant Contestant Application! 

Mx St Pete Pride contestants will compete in 3 separate divisions with (1) winner from each division. The divisions include: 

• Mr - Individuals whose stage persona identifies as male, regardless of gender identity. 
• Miss - Individuals whose stage persona identifies as female, regardless of gender identity. 
• Mx - Individuals whose stage persona identifies as gender diverse/nonbinary, regardless of gender identity.  Mx contestant’s stage persona MUST be different from the Mr. and Miss stage persona’s to qualify. This division embodies the “unique” contestant and will not visually mirror the other divisions.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Contestants and their dancers/accompanists must be at least 21 years old before the Pageant.

KEY DATES:

• Friday, May 16th, 2025, 6 pm: Deadline for submitting all music and videos via Google Drive. We will be using Google Drive to collect talent music and videos. Each contestant will have access to their own folder, so please keep an eye out for the email containing the link. All music must be submitted by the deadline with no exceptions. This allows us time to test the music and videos at the Palladium and return everything to you in case there are any format issues.

• Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, 7:30 pm: Contestant Number Selection and Q&A via Zoom.We will be selecting contestant numbers in advance of the pageant during a Zoom meeting. This meeting will include a brief Q&A session, allowing you to ask any questions you may have. While attendance is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged. The meeting will last approximately one hour. Contestant names will be drawn randomly during the session. If additional contestants register after the numbers have been drawn, they will be placed at the front of the competition. A zoom invite will be sent to your email on your application.
• 
  Saturday, May 24th, 2025, 1 pm Sharp: On-site check-in and personal interviews will take place at the St. Pete Pride Office, located at 3251 3rd Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL, 33713, in the ballroom. The personal interviews will begin immediately after registration is complete, so please come prepared for your interview. Contestants will not be permitted to switch divisions.
• 
  Sunday, May 25th, 2025, 12:30 pm: Pageant Day - Palladium Theatre - Talent Blocking and Call Time. Parking is available, and all contestants will use the rear entrance. Talent blocking will begin promptly at 1:00 PM and will proceed in the order of contestant numbers. Each contestant will have the opportunity to use the stage for talent blocking. You will have 5 minutes to walk the stage and position your dancers as needed. During this time, no music or videos will be played, and the time limit will be strictly enforced. When doors open at 4 pm to the public, dancers with paid tickets will enter from the front doors only.  Dancers will be permitted in the dressing area no more than two numbers before you go on for talent.
