Murfreesboro Juneteenth Festival 2026

About the event

Presented by Cultural Arts Murfreesboro, the annual Juneteenth Celebration is held at Bradley Academy Museum and Cultural Center along South Academy Street. This year's festival will take place on June 20, 2026 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We are looking forward to another excellent celebration of community and culture as we commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans throughout the former Confederate States of America! Join us in the celebration with food, art, live music, dancing, and free activities. The event is free to attend and open to the public.

Parking instructions

Guest parking will be available at the Civic Plaza Parking Garage located at 111 W Vine Street and the City parking lot located at 307 S Church St. Limited handicap accessible parking is located closer to the event along State St. Please refer to the event parking maps for more information.

Health & safety

As this event takes place in the middle of Tennessee summer, there are some risks associated with high heat levels. Cooling stations will be located at the intersection of S Academy and State St. and the intersection of S Academy street and E Sevier Street. While cooling stations and limited cooling materials will be available, we encourage all guests and vendors to prepare ahead of time. Bring ample amounts of water, and take breaks from the heat in a shady, cool area when necessary. By attending or participating in this event, guests and vendors acknowledge the risks associated with high temperatures and outdoor conditions. Each individual assumes responsibility for monitoring their own health and wellbeing throughout the event. All food vendors are required to possess permits through the City of Murfreesboro to maintain necessary health and safety regulations.

Food Vendors

All food vendors must be licensed through the City of Murfreesboro. After licenses are verified, select vendors will be accepted into the event. Submission of this form does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. The attached application requires payment information be taken from each applicant. Your card will not be charged at the time of application. Payment will be processed automatically only upon acceptance into the festival. No refunds will be issued.

The festval director reserves the right to ask that any inelligible products or work be removed from the event.

All non-food vendors must submit this application and payment to be considered eligible to participate in this event. This is not a juried show. Completion of application and payment and adherence to the event policies secures the applicant's booth at the event. Payment will be processed upon completion of this form.

NO food vendor applications will be accepted through this form. Acceptable submissions include, but are not limited to, small businesses, art vendors, performers, non-profit organizations, school groups, educational organizations, etc.

The festival director reserves the right to ask any inappropriate or ineligible work to be removed. No refunds will be issued for any reason.
