Welcome to the MumFest Vendor Application Process! If your booth sells Handmade Arts & Crafts, you MUST complete and submit the Handmade Arts & Crafts Vendor Application in full, pay the application fee, and submit. MumFest is an outdoor festival coordinated by Swiss Bear, Inc.

Handmade arts and crafts vendors are independent artisans offering original, handcrafted goods such as jewelry, home décor, artwork, textiles, and more. These vendors typically do not operate a traditional storefront and provide a unique shopping experience featuring one-of-a-kind items created by the artist.

Commercial business vendors include service-based and professional businesses such as construction companies, dental offices, financial institutions, healthcare providers, and other local or regional organizations. These vendors participate to promote their services, build brand awareness, and connect directly with the thousands of attendees who visit downtown New Bern during MumFest weekend.

MumFest is an outdoor festival coordinated by Swiss Bear, Inc. As of 2025, we focus on local food trucks and vendors. 

Food vendors include food trucks, trailers, and specialty food providers offering a variety of fresh cuisine and beverages to serve MumFest attendees throughout the weekend. Priority placement will be given to local food trucks, with remaining space offered based on availability and menu variety to ensure a diverse and high-quality food experience.

Non-profit vendors include charitable organizations, civic groups, schools, and community-based initiatives seeking to share their mission, programs, and volunteer opportunities with festival attendees. These booths are designed for outreach and engagement rather than retail sales, providing a meaningful way to connect with the community during MumFest weekend.

Political vendors include candidates, political parties, and advocacy groups seeking to share information about campaigns, initiatives, or policy positions with festival attendees. Participation is limited to outreach and informational materials only, and all political vendors must comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Welcome to the MumFest Vendor Application Process! If you are a Downtown New Bern Business, you MUST complete and submit the  Downtown Business Vendor Application in full, pay the application fee, and submit. MumFest is an outdoor festival coordinated by Swiss Bear, Inc.

Downtown business vendors are brick-and-mortar businesses physically located within the official downtown footprint (between First Street, Broad Street, and E. Front Street). This category is reserved exclusively for those businesses operating within the designated district boundaries and provides an opportunity to extend their presence onto the street during MumFest weekend.
