Mi Gente is Millcreek's annual celebration of Latinx and Hispanic heritage, held at Millcreek Common during Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15–October 15). The event brings together residents of all backgrounds to celebrate the rich traditions, cultures, and contributions of Latin American and Spanish-speaking communities through music, dance, food, art, and family-friendly activities.

Parking & Transportation
Parking is available at Millcreek Common, in the new public parking garage with its entrance on Chambers Avenue (just west of Millcreek City Hall), and in nearby public parking areas.
Overflow public parking is available at:
• The public parking lot north of Millcreek Common
• The dentist office parking lot across from Crown Burger on Highland Drive
• The Other Side Thrift side parking lot at 1330 East & 3300 South
Please follow all posted parking signs and directions from event staff.
Please Do Not Park In:
• Harmons
• Tres Hombres
• Walgreens
These businesses actively enforce their parking policies, and unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.
To help reduce traffic and parking congestion, we encourage attendees to carpool, walk, bike, or use other alternative transportation when possible.
Accessible (ADA) parking is available in designated spaces near the venue. Please display a valid accessible parking permit when using these spaces.

Health & safety
Mi Gente Health & Safety Guidelines
To help ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask all attendees to follow these simple guidelines:
Follow directions from event staff, volunteers, security personnel, and emergency responders.
Be aware of your surroundings and help keep walkways and emergency access routes clear.
Stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and take breaks as needed, especially during warm weather.
Children should remain supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
If you see something unsafe or need assistance, notify an event staff member immediately.
Emergency Medical Services (EMT) will be on site throughout the event to provide medical assistance if needed.
Please respect performers, vendors, fellow attendees, and the venue by treating everyone with kindness and courtesy.
Help keep the event clean by disposing of trash and recycling in designated receptacles.
Service animals are welcome. Pets should be leashed and under their owner's control at all times, if permitted at the venue.
In the event of an emergency, please remain calm and follow instructions from event staff and public safety officials.
