Metro Montage is the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art’s 22nd annual juried exhibition featuring all types of genre, medium, style, subject matter, concept, and technique in art. Metro Montage XXII will feature works of fine art by contemporary artists that showcase the diversity and skill within our nation’s culture. An anonymous panel will select works of art to be exhibited at MCMA from over 900 submissions. IMPORTANT DATES 2022: April 18 = Submission Deadline—11:59PM May 20 = Accepted and Denied notification will be mailed USPS June 23 = Art Delivery between 9:00AM and 3:00PM July 9 = Opening Day (6:00 — 8:00PM Reception) September 4 = Exhibition closes at 4:00PM September 6 = Art Pick Up between 9:00AM and 3:00PM AWARDS: First Place: $750 · Second Place: $500 · Third Place: $250 JURY: MCMA Curator, Madeline Beck, will once again lead an anonymous committee of jurors to judge this year’s Metro Montage. Beck has been working with the MCMA staff since 2015 and was Curatorial Assistant for the Zuckerman Museum of Art. She graduated summa cum laude from Kennesaw State University with a B.A. in Art History. Beck has judged numerous exhibitions in Atlanta, presented undergraduate research at conferences across the region, and has been published in three academic journals. Beck also serves on the ArtsATL Artist Advisory Council.
