The Makers Market

The MelaDen is bringing together a curated mix of creatives, makers, artists, and entrepreneurs for our Makers Market.

The Makers Market is an outdoor marketplace designed to give local creators space to showcase their work, connect with customers, and build community.

We intentionally limit duplicate vendor categories so each business has room to stand out. Applications are reviewed based on event fit, availability, and maintaining a balanced vendor mix. Because this is a curated market, we may limit or decline applications when a product or service category is already represented.

Food: Food trucks and prepared food vendors are currently not being accepted
Beverages: Beverage-only vendors are not currently being accepted

We welcome artists, makers, crafters, jewelry designers, visual artists, photographers, creative businesses, specialty product makers, and other creative entrepreneurs.

Weather Policy
Because this is an outdoor event, the market may be cancelled or modified due to unsafe weather conditions. Weather-related decisions will be made with the safety of vendors, attendees, and event staff in mind. Approved vendors will be notified as soon as a weather-related decision is made.

Not every creative comes to the market to sell. Creative Spaces are for artists and makers who simply want a place to create, work alongside other creatives, and share their process with the community.

Covered Creative Space

Creatives share the 10' x 10' tent while maintaining their own 5' x 10' workspace. Best for painters, crocheters, illustrators, crafters, and other creatives who benefit from overhead coverage

Open Creative Space
Uncovered 5' x 10' spaces located along the sides of the creatives tent. Best for creatives who don't need overhead coverage or who bring their own setup

Seating
4 chairs and 2 stools are available for Creative Space participants. Seating is first come, first served and cannot be reserved. 1 seat per space.

Creative Spaces are intended for creating, not selling. If you plan to sell products or services at the market, please apply as a vendor instead.
