Maximum Card Show - October 3 - Salt Lake City

By purchasing a ticket to, entering, or participating in the Maximum Card Show (“Event”), each attendee (“Attendee”) agrees to the following Terms & Conditions. 1. Tickets, Admission & Refund Policy A valid ticket, wristband, badge, or other admission credential authorized by Maximum Card Show is required for entry. Unless otherwise expressly stated by Maximum Card Show, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Refunds will not generally be provided because of: * A change in personal plans or inability to attend * Late arrival or failure to attend * Traffic, road closures, transportation delays, or travel issues * Parking availability, parking costs, or difficulty accessing parking * Lines or wait times * Changes to vendors, table locations, activities, giveaways, floor plans, or other Event details * Removal from the Event for violating these Terms, Event rules, venue rules, or applicable law If an Event is canceled, postponed, relocated, or materially changed, Maximum Card Show will determine the applicable ticket remedy based on the circumstances and applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits any refund rights that cannot legally be waived. 2. Event Schedule & Changes Event dates, hours, schedules, layouts, vendor participation, table counts, activities, giveaways, attractions, and other Event details are subject to change. Maximum Card Show does not guarantee the attendance of any particular vendor, exhibitor, guest, or participant. Changes to Event programming or operations do not automatically entitle an Attendee to a refund. 3. Attendee Conduct Maximum Card Show is intended to provide a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment. Attendees must behave respectfully toward other attendees, vendors, Event staff, security personnel, and venue employees. The following may result in immediate removal from the Event: * Theft or attempted theft * Fighting, threats, or violence * Harassment or intimidation * Fraud or intentionally deceptive conduct * Dangerous or disruptive behavior * Refusal to follow reasonable instructions from Event staff, security, or venue management * Violation of Event rules, venue rules, or applicable law An Attendee removed for misconduct will not generally receive a refund and may, at Maximum Card Show's discretion, be prohibited from attending future Maximum Card Show events. Maximum Card Show may contact venue security or law enforcement when reasonably appropriate. 4. Children & Minors Maximum Card Show welcomes families and young collectors. Parents and guardians remain responsible for the supervision, safety, belongings, and conduct of minors attending with them. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors in their care at all times. 5. Personal Property Attendees are solely responsible for safeguarding their cards, collectibles, merchandise, bags, cash, phones, electronics, and other personal belongings. Maximum Card Show does not guarantee the security of personal property and is not responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged property except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded. Attendees are strongly encouraged to keep valuable collectibles and personal belongings under their direct supervision at all times. 6. Buying, Selling & Trading Buying, selling, and trading between attendees, vendors, and other third parties occurs independently between the people involved in each transaction. Maximum Card Show is not a party to these transactions and does not guarantee or warrant: * Authenticity * Condition * Grading * Value * Pricing * Ownership * Quality * Legality * Completeness * Future value of any card, collectible, sealed product, autograph, graded item, memorabilia, merchandise, or other product offered at the Event. Attendees are responsible for inspecting and evaluating products and transactions before completing a purchase, sale, or trade. 7. Transaction Disputes Maximum Card Show does not act as an arbitrator, marketplace guarantor, escrow service, authentication service, or dispute-resolution service for transactions conducted between attendees, vendors, or other third parties. Any disagreement involving a purchase, sale, trade, refund, chargeback, authenticity question, condition dispute, pricing disagreement, or other private transaction must generally be resolved directly between the parties involved. Maximum Card Show may assist with safety or Event-rule concerns when appropriate, but is not obligated to determine who is financially responsible in a private transaction. 8. Authentication Unless Maximum Card Show specifically states otherwise for a particular service or activity, Maximum Card Show does not authenticate merchandise offered at the Event. The presence of a vendor, exhibitor, card, product, grading-company holder, autograph, or other item at the Event should not be interpreted as an endorsement or guarantee by Maximum Card Show. Attendees should conduct their own due diligence before completing significant transactions. 9. Parking & Transportation Maximum Card Show does not own, operate, manage, or control third-party parking facilities unless expressly stated otherwise. Parking garages, hotel parking facilities, city parking, street parking, rideshare services, public transportation, and other transportation services may be operated by independent third parties. Maximum Card Show does not guarantee: * Parking availability * Parking rates * Garage operating hours * Parking validation or voucher acceptance * Vehicle security * Traffic conditions * Road access * Transportation availability Any advertised parking rate, discount, validation, or parking arrangement may be subject to the rules and availability of the applicable parking operator. Maximum Card Show is not responsible for parking citations, towing, vehicle damage, theft from vehicles, parking charges, or other parking-related losses except where required by law. 10. Venue & Third-Party Services Maximum Card Show hosts Events within facilities operated by independent venues and may rely on other third-party service providers. Certain aspects of the attendee experience may therefore be outside Maximum Card Show's direct control, including: * Parking * Building access * Elevators and escalators * Heating and air conditioning * Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity * Electricity * Restrooms * Food and beverage service * Venue staffing * Building systems * Nearby construction * Traffic or road closures * Emergency or governmental restrictions Maximum Card Show will make reasonable efforts to operate the Event effectively but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or performance of services controlled by independent third parties. 11. Giveaways & Prize Bags All giveaways, prize bags, promotional items, and similar benefits are subject to availability and may be offered while supplies last. Contents, quantities, values, eligibility requirements, and distribution procedures may vary. Unless specifically stated otherwise, receiving a giveaway or prize bag is not guaranteed by the purchase of an admission ticket. Failure to receive a limited giveaway or promotional item does not by itself entitle an Attendee to a ticket refund. 12. Photography, Video & Media Photography, video recording, and other media production may occur throughout the Event. By entering areas where general Event photography or filming is occurring, Attendees acknowledge that they may appear incidentally in photographs or recordings used for Event documentation, social media, advertising, promotional materials, or other legitimate Maximum Card Show purposes. 13. Health, Safety & Venue Rules Attendees must comply with applicable laws, safety requirements, Event procedures, and rules established by the venue. Maximum Card Show may modify entry procedures, capacity, schedules, layouts, activities, or other Event operations when reasonably necessary because of safety concerns, emergencies, venue requirements, government requirements, or circumstances outside Maximum Card Show's reasonable control. 14. Assumption of Ordinary Event Risks Attendance at a public convention may involve ordinary risks associated with crowds, walking, standing, lines, carrying personal property, interactions with other people, and participation in buying, selling, or trading activities. By voluntarily attending, Attendees acknowledge and accept the ordinary risks associated with participating in a public Event. 15. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maximum Card Show and its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from attendance at or participation in the Event. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, disclaim, or limit responsibility where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law. 16. Responsibility for Attendee Conduct Each Attendee is responsible for their own conduct. To the extent permitted by law, an Attendee may be responsible for losses, damages, expenses, or claims resulting from that Attendee's unlawful, intentionally harmful, fraudulent, or negligent conduct. 17. Enforcement Maximum Card Show reserves the right to interpret and enforce Event policies reasonably in order to protect attendees, vendors, staff, property, and the operation of the Event. Failure to enforce a rule in one circumstance does not prevent Maximum Card Show from enforcing that rule in another circumstance. 18. Agreement to Terms By purchasing a ticket, entering the Event premises, or participating in the Event, the Attendee acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions. If an Attendee does not agree to these Terms & Conditions, they should not purchase admission, enter, or participate in the Event.
