Manitou Comedy Code of Conduct At Manitou Comedy, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all performers, audience members, and staff. Our code of conduct outlines the behavior we expect from everyone involved in our community: Respect and Inclusivity: We respect each other's differences, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and religious beliefs. We strive to create a welcoming space for all individuals. Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism. Professionalism: We value professionalism in all interactions. This includes treating others with courtesy and respect, both on and off stage. Supportive Environment: We encourage a supportive environment where performers can feel comfortable trying new material and honing their craft. Safety: The safety of our performers, audience members, and staff is paramount. Any behavior that compromises safety will not be tolerated. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: We expect all individuals associated with Manitou Comedy to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Feedback and Communication: We encourage open and constructive communication. If you have feedback or concerns, please share them with us in a respectful manner. Harassment-Free Environment: Harassment of any kind, including verbal, physical, or sexual harassment, will not be tolerated. Responsible Alcohol Consumption: If alcohol is served at our events, we expect individuals to consume it responsibly. Adherence to Venue Policies: We expect all individuals to adhere to the policies and guidelines of the venue hosting our events. Commitment to Growth and Improvement: We are committed to continually improving our community and welcome feedback on how we can do better. By participating in Manitou Comedy events, you agree to abide by this code of conduct. Violations of this code may result in removal from the event or community.
